It looks to like Arum is punishing Chavez Jr. for bailing on the PPV show this weekend. How they ever thought they could get $54.95 (in HD) for this fight is beyond me and now without Chavez Jr, this PPV card should be no more than $9.95 (like back when Rid**** Bowe fought Bruce Seldon, etc.). And I would pay $10 for this card just for the Filipino Flash fight but not a penny more....

If the report it's true it was Cotto who made the approach to make Sergio-Cotto happen so why doubt it at this moment when Cotto has always been willing to face the best?
The Margarito will always be there for Cotto as a plan B even if he lose to Sergio he can get a decent payday against Margarito. The other option is Berto although I don't know if Berto would want to fight at 154 what will be his demands.

Mark my words, Chavez Jr will never weigh less than 160 for a fight ever again.

            Cotto dodged another bullet.

I really wanted to collect on that fight too. Chavez would've killed Cotto.

Only way that happens is if he shot him at the weigh-in, and even then he'd probably puss out due to another 'flu' that caused him to gain 8 lbs

chavez jr. continues the long mexi**** tradition of quiting on his stool, but this time he quit before the fight even began.

Chavez jr is not even on the level of a fighter like Mayorga.

I would have to agree on this and there might be a chance that even Roach will give up on him

Chavez Jr. "se cago" and is afraid to fight Cotto.
