The time is right for Cotto vs Berto

Berto wants a Cotto fight. I think that fight is the best case scenario for both fighters. Its a very winnable fight for Cotto that would put him right back up there if he wins. Berto would get new fans fighting a big draw like Cotto as well and it would be an all action fight that would earn him respect. This would be a tough fight to call but I slightly favor Berto because of all the wars Cottos been in. I dont wanna see Cotto fight martinez cuz I dont see Cotto winning that fight at this point. If Cotto loses to Berto no big deal because he can still get an inhouse big fight with Margarito.

I'm actually not interested in Cotto trying to avenge his loss to Margarito anymore and I'm gonna quit criticizing him if he decides not to go in that direction. If he beats him, so what. He just got to him in the aftermath of Pacquiao re-arranging his face. Cotto should fight Martinez because it would make an easy sell. Two Latino fighters going at it and if Cotto loses, he can always use the excuse he was fighting a bigger guy. If he fights Martinez at a catch weight at 155 for the Middleweight title and loses though, I'm gonna laugh my fuckin arse off. Lol.

I was actually hoping this fight would come off. I saw it as a test for both. Cotto should go after a Margarito rematch next year. That fight looks pretty winnable now.

c'mon man. cotto needs to get revenge no matter what. margo made him take knees and made him quit. and its possible that marg used plaster on him. cotto needs to get some get back. plus it will sell well with ricans and mexicans because of the mexico/rico rivalry.
