No, he is younger than Shane. But age doesn't always dictate prime.

I don't blame Arum for being honest. This is a risky fight. Why do this fight and jeopardize the big money fight against Pretty Money?

They should fight Marquez at 144lbs next.. Put Berto & Mosley on the under card with the winner fighting Pac in mid summer.

                  You what?
I fancy about Pacquiao fighting Martinez at 155 lb before he leaves boxing!
It will be a chance to become a Nine Division Champion!!!

I want to know where Pacquiao will hit the wall~~~
Win or Lose, he legacy is already cemented!!!
Beside losing to a guy over 20 lbs will not diminish anything!

If the fight happens though, I can see Pacquiao has chance of winning!
But he will be at least 3-1 Underdog!

Don't bring common sense into a boxing forum.

It's a ridiculous arguement...As good as Manny is, it would be a mismatch!
I hardly agree with arum(especially when he's considering mosley as Pac's next opponent) but he's right regarding Martinez. The guy should stay in his lane and make the best out of fighting today's best in HIS div he's most competitive in like.. Floyd, Berto,Marquez, Khan. Manny will never be considered as the greatest fighter that ever lived, not because of his performance in the ring, but because of his opponents who are nowhere near elites like Duran, Leonard, Whitaker, Chavez sr etc etc but that's not manny's fault...he was just born in the wrong era. He surely is the best of all of today's active fighters pound for pound and beating Floyd would cement that which is why the fight needs to be made!
Manny doesn't need to fight Martinez or Klitscho to prove anything!
