Damn, it's good to be able to disagree and still have a linear intelligent conversation. I appreciate real fans of the sport.

Good point. But I was pretty impressed by what I saw that JMW do in the first Williams fight, I mean he is certainly a better fighter than Williams.

And I thought he handled Pavlik really well. Sure, it was the limited Pavlik, but Kelly could easily fight at SMW and Martinez handled him well.

You could be right there, I suppose that we will really need to see what happens over the next year or two to be sure, but I am pretty confident that this guy's story isn't finished yet.

What middleweight should Martinez - who is a large JMW - fight?

I'd rather him not fight Lee, but seriously, who's there for him? It's a stay busy fight and after what he's been through in the last year in a half, I think even you can agree that he's earned a stay busy fight. Career wise he's broke through another level with the Williams KO and landed three HBO dates. This Lee fight can serve as a showcase to a new contingent if nothing else.

Who would you have him fight?

That's the thing with Martinez-it's the intangibles that you sense in him. He wont coddle his success and he brings a level of dignity with him that you don't see often in the sport these days.

Dude just pretty much came clean and said Pacquiao is a fraud in a polite way. Lol. The Marquez match up is okay compared to a fight with Berto or Mosley. But this is the guy Pac should really be fighting. If JMM can move up two weight divisions like Arum wants him to, then why can't Pacquiao fight a naturally bigger guy at the lowest weight he can get down to and put himself at a disadvantage? I'll tell you why. Because Pacquiao is protected.

                Good one

Manny is a JMW champion, but is too small to fight an actual JMW. LMAO !!

Marquez is - at best - a lightweight, but " *** him, he can come to 147 "

Team Pacquiao, are still piss-scared of Marquez.....
..... and yet Manny, is protected as hell, and has been since Marquez II.

After Manny dominates Shane, and a fight with Floyd falls through...then there really isn't anyone left for Manny.
                      Quit fooling yourself, bro.

                      Pac/Martinez WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

Sergio's just too good and slick for Manny.

Pac only likes fighting a certain style of fighter and that ain't Sergio, AT ALL.

Bad style match-up is an understatement.
