So are u saying martinez would come down to 150, cause that's where pac fought cheato, if not, then their NOT the same size. I get u don't like pac, but don't let that simple fact blind u. I don't know one person who watched that fight because of a title. Those belts aren't worth the leather their stuck to. No one, and I mean NO ONE cares about these titles. If you don't want to call him an 8 division champion...don't. I don't. It doesn't matter. What the man is doing is amazing, paper title be damned. U don't see fighters giving up 17 pounds to a beast like cheato and then smashing the big guys face in, u just don't. That fight could have been for nothing more then a pile of rocks taped to a key chain and the same number of people would have tuned in. We're here to watch boxing, it's not a trinket contest. Sure they add a little to the luster, but in the end no one really cares. Pac is a 4 time lineal title champion, he's earned all the "hype" ur *****in about. Dude is a ****ing beast, plain and simple.

My issueis that Manny Pacquaio is the WBC 154 champ, willing to fight tomato cnas in the division, and uses bull**** excuses when it comes time to fight someone legit.

BTW, Roy Jones gave up 33 lbs to John Ruiz. Mayweather was outweighed by about 14 lbs on fight nigth against de la Hoya. And neither of those guys were coming off being totally outclassed and brutally KO'd in their previous real fight. Let's not act like Pac is doing something unprecedented by beating up a guy who old ass Shane Mosley whipped a lot worse a couple fights ago.

It's really funny how weird it is to see Pac transform throughout recent years. The norm would be that the bigger you get the less cut and slower you get.

Pac is supposedly drastically increasing his caloric intake to make weight in the welterweight division. But when he was in his natural weight he was getting ****** around. How is it now that he takes better shot by these big guys and not even flinch.

His legs look almost abnormal in size now and his head looks bigger. I think many people see that and that's why they wonder about Pac.

I know we are beating a dead horse here with the whole PEDs thing but it will always be an issue with me whenever talking about Pac.

His head is definitely bigger. And with his reluctance to comply with strict illegal PED testing, I personally feel he's dirty.

I don't know if we are being realistic! Is there a PED that increases punch resistance?

I know one for building muscles. But how about power and endurance? That's beyond me.

Mayweather should have ask the testing without issuing first the accusation. They are putting us all in a loss-loss situation.

Martinez said that if they were willing to meet at 155 he would put up his MW title as incentive. This is what Arum is refering to in this article.

Margarito was a defeated and disgraced fighter. Why wouldn't he give up concessions for a record payday and a chance at redemption?

Go look up the date Jan 24, 2009. On that date, Shane Mosley pummeled the great Margarito a lot worse than Pac did. Mayweather fought the winner of that fight. Pac fought the loser. But, somehow, Pac outclassing Margarito is more impressive than Mayweather outclassing Mosley. Something seems very ass backwards about that logic.

Because Team Pac already said that they won't fight at 150+ anymore after the Marga fight. And that's several days before Martinez won.

Some fans here repeatedly said that Marga and Martinez are of almost the same size, some even mentioned that Martinez is smaller than Marga. So why can't a smaller Martinez make 150 if the bigger Marga was able to do it?

And what's that 154? He did not even reached 150 at fight night....... If Martinez wants the $$$ badly, then go to 150 or fight your own size.

Mayweather said after the first bout of negotiations fell apart earlier this year that he was no longer willing to accept any cutoff dates for the USADA testing in any of his future fights. But, that hasn't stopped people from screaming he's ducking Pac even though Pac hasnt' agreed the USADA testing. Smells like a double standard to me.
