Oh, my bad. I wasn't aware that the WBC had changed their weight limits. After Pac beat Margarito, they announced him as the new WBC super welterweight champion. Throughout my life, super welterweight and 154 has always been the same. When did they change it?

Manny should fight Berto or Marquez.Forget Mosley.I was a big Mosley fan but he's shot now.Berto is young,strong and in his peak.Marquez will be game but Manny will KO him this time.If a slow Katsidis could dropped him once,Manny will stop him this time.I like the Berto fight,it's the most risky one & he's black so if Manny beat him,that will shut B-hop up & the rest of the critics.

My issue with Pac, his team, and all those who worship him is that the hype machine has gotten in the way of reality. We've been force fed chicken-****, and been told it was chicken soup. 1.15M people spent at least $60 because they thought they were watching history seeing Pac win a "title" in an 8th division. But now, because its not a hand picked tomato can, he's too little to fight in the division. They've continually pulled this nonsense since leaving the 130 division. He fought Diaz instead of Casamayor or Campbell at lightweight. He fights Cotto instead of a Mosley who was considered by most the top welter. And now he fights Margarito for a vacant belt at 154 when neither has ever been in a significant 154 match. Its ridiculous. Pac bull****ted his way into that 154 belt. Now, he's got someone wanting to take in in what is the biggest fight available to him. But all of a sudden, he's too little. It sickening and has turned a person who used to be one his biggest fans (me) into someone who can't stand what he's become.

So are u saying martinez would come down to 150, cause that's where pac fought cheato, if not, then their NOT the same size. I get u don't like pac, but don't let that simple fact blind u. I don't know one person who watched that fight because of a title. Those belts aren't worth the leather their stuck to. No one, and I mean NO ONE cares about these titles. If you don't want to call him an 8 division champion...don't. I don't. It doesn't matter. What the man is doing is amazing, paper title be damned. U don't see fighters giving up 17 pounds to a beast like cheato and then smashing the big guys face in, u just don't. That fight could have been for nothing more then a pile of rocks taped to a key chain and the same number of people would have tuned in. We're here to watch boxing, it's not a trinket contest. Sure they add a little to the luster, but in the end no one really cares. Pac is a 4 time lineal title champion, he's earned all the "hype" ur *****in about. only sugar ray leonard can do that ****1 , win any of two titles from 2 different weighclass at a catchweight.....obviously , it would be for pac's title not martinez's....if margo is bigger than martinez and did'nt have a problem cgoing down to 150, why would sergio have when he's the smaller man?...that makes sense to you?....lol......truth is they are very similar in size!.

The amount of bull**** behind Leonards catchweights may even surpass Pacs.

Margarito was a defeated and disgraced fighter. Why wouldn't he give up concessions for a record payday and a chance at redemption?
