How far up your list does a win over Pacquiao -- at this stage of their respective careers -- push JMM?


It would be somewhat immense, no?

It would be immense, it would be better than Morales win over Pac just cuz how Pac is perceived at this time.

I think a win over Pac could be JMM as low as #7(ahead of Barrera, Morales, and Zarate) and as high as #4(right behind Azteca, JCC, and Chava) on my list.

It all depends on how he wins also.

I don't think you just look at how they did against one opponent when considering rankings IMO.

You have to look at the whole body of work.

JCC is the greatest Mexican fighter of all time. He has a really good resume and more importantly his longevity pretty gives him the #1 spot.

I did mention Azteca and yes JCC should be #1 cuz not only does he have the longevity he also has the resume and accomplishments. JCC has a good resume, beat good fighters, his resume does get underrated is not great but it is pretty damn good. Then you add the longevity to that resume and accomplishments than IMO he has it the #1 spot secure.
