Floyd paid $600K to weigh in at 146, do you think he weighed only 148 on fight night against JMM? He probably came in around 10 pounds over JMM.

Pac will only come in at most 3 pounds over JMM even if JMM has a 135 limit and Pac has no limit at all.

So it is not possible to perform as he does in his age? While my statement stands, this is a bad example, anyways. A guy nearly 50 kinda has the right to use something, to compete with 30 somethings. Not so in his next fight, mind you... Ideally, it would only be about determination and skill, not age.

Arum, along with Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach, are taking a hard line with Pacquiao's next fight taking place at the full welterweight limit of 147-pounds.

the smartest thing marquez can do is come in at 135lbs screw even 140lbs, let pac come in at whatever he wants. anything above 138lbs jmm has zero chance.

no offense but tuneup my ass. floyd-jmm was billed Numero Uno. floyd said he wanted to fight the best that's why he took on what he thinks at that time was the 'real p4p#1.

As I recall, JMM called out Floyd Mayweather in his postfight interview after the Juan Diaz fight. So once again, I can't understand why Money was criticized for fighting him and people are excusing Pac.

Marquez couldn't get up to 144 when he fought Mayweather so he wont make 147 at the weigh in. If its 147 or no fight I opt no fight Bob "sleaseball" Arum

the limit is 140 not 135 he can come anything over 140 but nothing over 147 and at fight night he can put on as any amount of weight he chooses

We know what he said. But that was a ****ing tuneup. You had to be a real idiot to buy that crap. And if he fought another tuneup after that he would've (rightfully) been lambasted. If he tried to go for three in a row (like Manny is trying to do), he probably woulda been shot.
