Green was equally as good or probably a better boxer than Froch , Johnson seems stronger at this weight he said that he jumped over SM to got LHW so this may have been his ideal weight all along, no way is Johnson getting stopped late by the likes of a Carl Froch when Tarver, Dawson, Jones, or Cloud didn't even come close to doing it, are you kidding me!? Froch is losing this fight.Johnson fighting at 168 for the 2nd time in 10 years against one of the biggest and strongest SM's? I see him getting stopped late.
The Green fight was a great result for Glen, but it didn't say much about how he would compete against guys in the SM division far better than the zombie Green.Comment

That tactic won't work against Johnson, Froch legs are not fast enough and Glen is much more active. He would have to go to Glen's body and hold him in a ugly fight. AA doesn't throw enough and doesn't counter but Johnson is a different story and also is comming in with a good chin. Can't wait for this fightAll the above. Glen fights nothing like AA. AA keeps his guard up high for the first half of the fight, waiting for his opponents to tire - and then he starts to engage, using his power to overwhelm. Froch never tired against AA because he never needed to engage in all out exchanges. With AA's style, all he needed to do was stay consistant with his jab because AA is a defensive fighter. It was easier for Froch to stick to his game plan since he was able to keep AA in defense mode. I'm not taking anything away from Carl though. Because he stuck to his jab, he was never in any danger of having to go toe to toe with AA. He knew that whenever he threw something that AA would put his guard up and block, rather than counter punch. But, Johnson is the type of fighter that tires HIS opponents out, never stops coming, and he has a solid chin. He'll take 3 shots to deliver 1. Johnson is also relentless at targeting the body, even in the later rounds when most fighters tend to forget about the body and go head hunting. Froch himself has a pretty solid chin, so the body will be the key for Johnson in their fight. Johnson will be a much more aggresive fighter and will be 10 times more of a dangerous fight for Froch then AA was ever thought to be. As Froch himself said, Dirrell showed the best way to beat Abraham... and that was by activity.
Froch looked great against AA, but if he expects that the same game plan will work against Glen he needs to have his Plan B ready. Glen is not going to stand there in a defensive shell all night not throwing back. Like I said, Glen will take 3 or 4 punches from his opponent just to land 1, and still keep coming.
If all else fails for Froch he can bring in his new "by any means neccessary" plan - Have his girlfriend scream at the top of her lungs for the entire 12 rounds again. Her voice is already annonying, and she brought it up a couple of decimeters... That's enough to confuse any man, and distract them in to wanting to choke the **** out of someone other then their opponent.Comment

He was not catching them flush watch the fight unbiasedly and even if it was a case of accumulation which I dont think it was, in those cases those types of kos by accumulation usually result in TKOs not KOs as was the case with Jones and Green.Comment

Andre Dirrell laid out the blueprint on how to beat Abraham, so Froch knew what he had to do before camp started. As for Johnson, i don't know. He seems slow, but he must have some power, the way he was hurting Green with every punch he landed. it should be a good fight.Comment

In case you didn't know flush means on the point of the chin not on the top of the head or on the jaw, or on the ear, a flush shot is right on the point of the chin, when Glen caught Roy on the point of the chin he went to sleep, Roy was pretty much rolling with and blocking the other shots with his high guard or catching them in areas that don't produce the same result.Comment
