Comments Thread For: Carl Froch: "Glen Johnson Will Not Get Past My Jab"

This past Saturday night in Helsinki, Finland, England's Carl Froch may have turned in a career-defining performance at the Hartwall Arena. There, Froch easily out-boxed Arthur Abraham over twelve one-sided rounds. Froch rebounds from April's decision loss to Denmark's Mikkel Kessler, and he became the No. 2 seed behind Andre Ward in the semifinals of Showtime's Super Six Super Middleweight World Boxing Classic.

Can't wait to see this fight. Glen Johnson is so active and relentless, and Froch won't back down for one second. This may be the best fight of the tourney.

It'll be a good fight. But I think Froch takes this one.

He's got the right frame of mind...........he needs to pump that jab consistently. If he let's Johnson inside he will lose imo as he can't fight inside.

Not really a fan of Carl, but got to give him his props....he embarrassed AA. He did a very good job against Arthur.

This is going to be a tough fight for Froch, both fighters have solid chins and decent power but the difference from the Abraham fight for Froch is that Glen will be more active than Abraham and he is much bigger than Abraham.

It could be a FOTY candidate if Froch decides to brawl.

I think the difference will be the jab, if froch can keep using it and then using his right hand a lot like he did against abraham, this will be another shut out

Glen has shown that when an opponent chooses to not mix it up with him and stay on the outside with the jab, he can become largely ineffective. I like Glen and always root for him, but this will also become a shut out, I think.

This is what I see happening,it won't look as easy as the AA fight did but Froch will still win this..I like Glen too but Froch is going to win the fight..Carl's fighting style always has him ready to punch he is very dangerous and an underrated boxer..Froch by UD..
