That tactic won't work against Johnson, Froch legs are not fast enough and Glen is much more active. He would have to go to Glen's body and hold him in a ugly fight. AA doesn't throw enough and doesn't counter but Johnson is a different story and also is comming in with a good chin. Can't wait for this fight

I didn't like Froch before.. I thought he was a big mouthed Brit with only power and a chin but if he continues to develop his skills as a boxer-puncher he is going to be a problem for a lot of his opponents. Especially is he starts throwing more combinations off the jab and becomes a better counterpuncher.

If johnson can come forward pumping his jab, he could give carl some problems. Plus Glen is a busy guy not like AA who likes to wait until you get tired to fight.

I am with you 100%. I also didn't like him at first, but I always like slick fighting styles. I just thought he had a big mouth, but he is definitely getting better and better. All of the fighters with high guards are being exposed now like Clottey, Winky, and Abraham. These fighters can't do anything with a slick style boxer or someone who stays behind the jab and boxes smartly. I think Abraham is going to lose to Andre Ward too. Its a wrap for that style... He's going to have 3 losses in a row. What a tournament.

Glen Johnson fights nothing like Abraham (who has to be the most overrated fighter on NSB). If Froch is able to manhandle the Road Warrior...man.

This is going to be a really good fight... I think Froch will win but Johnson will put some pressure on him.

Glen's not going to win against Froch. Froch is on another level and will win this fight comprehensively.

Glenn Johnson aint Abraham, Abraham was a statue just sitting there and taking shots Glen will get through that jab Tarver said it best when Glen was fighting green, he said what fighter do you know that has kept johnson at bay with the jab, no one has, light heavyweigths couldn't do it, Tarver, Jones, or Dawson I think this fight will be pretty much one sided in favor of Johnson with a possible late rd stoppage. Abraham is basically skilless no jab, no head movement, no combination punching he just walks ahead takes shots and waits for his opponent to get tired and hope for the lucky shot.

Johnson has walked through much harder punchers with better jabs than Froch, with better skills than Froch, this will be no different I think Johnson is going to take him places he has never been and punish him over the distance with a possible late rd stoppage, Johnson is as hungry at this age than he has ever been, and the way he disposed of a ready focused green should sound alarms for the rest of the super six, Johnson is going to beat Froch and Abraham on his way to facing Ward.

You should post more often. Agree with everything you say. However, a part of me wants to see Froch win. I can't help but like him and adding a name like Johnson to his dossier, even at this stage, would be great. Plus, I wanna see Froch-Ward for the finale.
