Funny because the last time I checked. Manny was the reason the fight didn't happen in the first place.

Pacquiao and Mayweather had agreed to unlimited random urine testing, but Mayweather also insisted on random blood testing, even though the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which would oversee the bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, requires only urine testing.

Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs) didn't want blood testing but later relented and agreed to three blood tests: one during the week of the kickoff news conference, which would have taken place next week, one random test to be conducted no later than 30 days before the fight and a final test in his dressing room after the fight. Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) would be subject to the same testing procedures.

When they could not come to an agreement, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather, turned to a mediator, retired judge Daniel Weinstein, who had successfully mediated a series of disputes between Top Rank and Golden Boy in 2007.

But after nine hours in mediation on Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif., and further attempts to come to a resolution on Wednesday failed, the fight was pronounced dead by the Pacquiao camp.

1) Mayweather @ 147. The creme de la creme. The cream of the crop. The only thing holding back this fight is Pacquiao's reluctance for random blood testing. There's also the notion of Mayweather's legal history.

2) JMM @ 140. No fucking catchweights. Manny could already make 140 EASY. Hell, even Larry "*******ious" Merchant wants this fight if Mayweather can't fight.

3) Berto @ 147. Unknown to casual fans but so was Clottey (hell, did Clottey even have a fan?). He is also a Haitian-American fighter in his prime.

4) Alexander/Bradley winner @ 140. Both are African-American fighters in their prime.

But then again, we all know who Arum is going for (Grandfather Shane coming from a bad loss and shit draw). I used to defend Pac on these boards but we all know that Manny is Arum's bitch. He's kinda like that Jet Li character in that film Unleashed (aka Danny the Dog). The problem is that he wants his fighter to spit in the history of the sport while being ********** by HBO and his fans.

all the last few weeks great fights GOT NO OST on it. Did you enjoy it? or you did not watch it because there were no OST test on those fights? do you want a fight between pac and floyd? or you just want the **** test?

You right!! I want the fight. But you know that Floyd ain't fighting unless you take the tests as he proposed. If you want to call him a scared beeacth, that's cool. But why not just take the tests? If that's the only thing hold the fight back then go ahead and accept it. Let's all call Floyd scared. But at the same time we need to tell Pac to man up. All this talk about Mosely, Marquez, Berto...we want to see Floyd/Pac!!!

I want to see Manny give the people what they want to see. And if the only way we can get that is by Manny taking the tests then c'mon Manny, do it. This can't be about principle or being weak after giving blood.

problem for me is that however good a champ mosley was in his prime he is now done and while this makes arum top dollar...manny shouldnt need to worrying about how much he can make now...he needs to cement his legacy and kill off any doubters. taking big money against shot fighters isnt credible. he needs to face the biggest tests he can for a fair purse. all arum's bs about being a marketing genius should mean that he can sell vs marquez or vs berto if mayweather decides he prefers picking up soap in jail cells. mosley is a bad choice. not competitive and will do manny no favours reputationally. so come on arum u silly old fart...quit thinking about ur own income and do manny a favour...give him someone that the knowledgeable public will give him credit for!
