Say what you like about Oscar.....

But you simply cannot compare that ****bag Arum and that hype-job Pacquiao, with Hoya and Marquez.
wow... you really fell for it. do you really think dela hoya was doing it for marquez. he was doing it because he gonna be stuck promoting the marquez vs pacquiao III which arum and pacquiao would not touch coz they know it wont make money. under contract if pacquiao fights a gbp fighter. oscar is gonna be the lead promoter if the fight dont sell. dela hoya will lose a lot of money. arum dont want a part of this fight. pacman want a guaranteed purse and dont want to co promote the fight. if marquez really want his third fight he will have to beg his big daddy oscar to bankroll the fight and it dont look like dela hoya will. poor marquez.

All these mofo's with there short term memory...

After the first fight it was Pac who offered an immediate rematch. Offered him 700+k... And, JMM goes turns it down and fight Chris John instead in Indonesia for like 45k or something like not. That is not a type he turned down a rematch with Pac for 700+k(6 figures) and fought John for 45k(5 figures) instead...

Then they offered him a 3rd fight for March of this year. They reached out to him. And, JMM goes and ask for 50-50 pretty much out pricing himself out of the fight.

Yet Pac is the one that is ducking this guy?

Are you guys who even believes that are a bunch of morons...

If both situations were turned around Pac would be crucified by some of you idiots. Yet JMM gets a pass? GTFOH...

Some people in this thread are confused. This is a direct reply to Arum's request. He said he would not do a JMM vs Pac fight if it was a co-promotion and Golden B?oy was involved. He said the only way he would entertain the notion of a third meeting was if TR did the promotional duties solely. So no GBP does not lose money in such an agreement. They do however lose promotional control.

that is just embarassing dude. Mexicans dont like Marquez.
Yeah, that is pretty bad. And a lot of those were comps. I still think that Pac would beat Marquez at 147 but if Mosley is the alternative then bring the first one on. Marquez is marketable as Pac's great foe, and people will watch simply because Pac is fighting..he IS that big now. Mosley would be marketed as what? The guy a whole lot of people saw losing to Mayweather and that fought to a draw in his last fight?

The money difference Arum is talking about is not all that big, if it even exists. And that applies, I think, even if we consider that the fans that make a fight successful do not hang out in hard-core boxing threads...

Well, even though Marcos is a great fighter, a boxer-puncher and warrior, it would really be good to see Pac KO him to shut him (and Mexico) up. Unfortunately it won't shut the Mexicans up, they are extremely sore losers. They still can't accept that California is not Mexico! ha ha But Pac keeps humbling the ever-arrogant Mexicans. Pac has beaten the best Mexicans of this era, but they can't handle it. May the little Philippino whip Marcos good! It will be good for boxing. De la Hoya wants to see at least one Mexican beat Pac, he says Pac doesn't hit hard, but Oscar knows he wouldn't have lasted 12 rounds of that whipping, that's why he quit! Margarito is another supposed bully that was going to get revenge for Mexico, but he got a rude awakening! Keep kicking ass Pacman!

While the beat down of Katsidis by JMM is fresh, I think this is the condusive time to let the 2 face each other again under the economic sense, and I think this would generates much revenues. However, this already spoiled by JMM in the very beginning by not recognizing the results of their two fights. Because what JMM wanted to portray is, just in case Pac will win this time convincingly, the scores will be JMM=2, Pac=1! And if it ends another close fight and Pac wins, JMM and his supporters score-cards will be JMM=3 and Pac=0! which is rediculous and unacceptable! Therefore, Pac will unlikely face unsportsman JMM again as long as JMM will continue playing as crying baby!

Should we start also downgrading Oscar career? Did he have no catch-weight fights whatsoever? Really? Should we talk about how an old JCC got a rematch however Whitaker nor Quartey could get one? Why was that? JCC got a beatdown in the first fight what was the point in fighting him again? Maybe that is why right? Because, JCC got a beatdown the first time while Whitaker and Quartey arguably won?

I mean a hypocrite would be somebody who would say I would never Vargas, I would never give him the payday, when Vargas is look like El Feroz. But, then Vargas chins get crack and arguably ruined by Tito, get dropped again by soft puncher in River, so chin was definitely cracked by Tito looks so so against "Shibata" Flores. And, now El Feroz is not really looking Ferocious and now Oscar wants to give him the payday? Really? Not when he was beating the likes of Campas, Winky, and Quartey but when he was getting KO'd dropped and looking eh... That is when? OK....

He wasn't a hypocrite right when he says I will fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito. But, when Marg wins and looks indestructible he then backs out and tries to cherry pick a LW who was only a LW for ONE fight and has him move up two divisions to fight....

He is the one who said "Pac doesn't hit that hard at all. He is just fast but not a power puncher."(paraphrasing) And, then when the OST thing came out with Floyd. He goes and says "Wow... yea Pac hit just as hard as Shane and Vargas did, so it makes you wonder..."(Paraphrasing) Yea those two statements were not hypocritical at all right?

Oscar De la Hoya is the biggest hypocrite and most overrated fighter in the last 10 years.

GTFOH with trying to romanticize Oscar.
Who cares about Oscar you short-sighted ****head?

I took the opportunity to slap that clown with own " hypocrite " tag.

So Oscar took what Manny owed him, so fkn what? WHO CARES ???

Nothing that you have said can change the following..........

A hypocrite, now let me see.....
A hypocrite would be somebody who holds a JMW title, and yet would not dare to fight an actual JMW That would be a hypocrite alright

                  Or, a hypocrite.....
would be somebody who calls themself P4P, and yet demands a catchweight of 145 to fight Cotto, and yet would also demand 147 to fight Marquez.

                  GTFOH !!

The fact that Manny demanded a catch-weight of 145 for Cotto, and yet will not fight Marquez unless the fight is held at 147..... is priceless

You're an idiot, is a clear as day.

Shortsighted? Dumbass you're the one who came up with this post in response to another poster calling Oscar a hypocrite. Pretty much saying Oscar is no hypocrite would be and then go on your little petty Pac hate.

But, since I shot the shit down and proved not only is Oscar a hypocrite but he is a bigger hypocrite than what Pac was. And, the irony that you bring up child ******er in an Oscar conversation was also quite funny.

In another post you also tried to make it seem as if Oscar was somehow greater than Pac.... Which is rimuthafuckingdiculous.

GTFOH with Oscar being greater bull****....

And, this is a thread with Oscar quotes... And, you say "who cares about Oscar." But, in a post here you say, "say what you want about Oscar" blah blah blah... So obviously you care about Oscar.

                      You're a hypocrite sir.
