I think Ward is still some way off going down as good as Calzaghe was. Id say Froch is maybe the SMW building up the best resume at the minute.
Looking at the division at the minute, the probably 2 finalist of the Super-six ( Froch and Ward) i think Calzaghe would have beaten, aswell as Bute.
But true enough, the winner of the super-six will certainly be building a good resume, especailly if they face Bute afterwards ..or in Frochs case Pascal at LHW.Comment

When Ward is at the end of his career, we can then discuss the possibility that it is better than Calzaghe's.
Ward at the minuet is an overrated American, as long as the fight is in a neutral venue, and Ward is not allowed to use his jab, headbut and hold style, is going to lose vs Arthur Abraham.Comment

LOL, yeah ok, wait another 10 more years of defending a belt and then MAYBE, he will surpass Calzaghe. You are fogetting that both Bika and Kessler are Calzaghe's left-overs, and an old Calzaghe at that, one that had brittle hands and had to change his style to more of a slapper as a result.by one sided wins vs kessler n bika moreso than calzaghe ward beat em more clearly n better skilled.....now if ward wins the super 6 he will unify he will do what calzaghe waited 15 years to do.....andre ward has put himself among the best super middleweights eva....well maybe not yet but at least hes proven better than calzaghe....
Ward is good and he might win the Super Six (him or Froch, alhtough I wouldn't count out the old Roadwarrior out either) but you are crazy if you think that at all equals being undefeated after 46 fights, 20+ defenses, and 10 years of defedning a crown... Calzaghe is going down in history as a SMW legend, and that's that...people will now compare every SMW to him...Comment
