good responses...back early on in his career Sugar Ray was trying to sign him and I was telling him how this kid can be the complete package, and he has personality to boot...just a funny kid (sometimes without meaning to be)...a real "personality" he'd be a great interview on a talk show...but whatever happened he was faltering...I think draining to 126 played a part back then...but whatever it was I am very glad for him that he showed everyone some of what he REALLY has to offer...

I had no idea about the 13-1 odds. I thought Litzau was better than that, I thought this was an even fight. When I heard those odds I was like where the hell have I been. Then I heard he got stopped by Guerrero. But before the Caballeor fight, I was looking forward to it as a 50-50 fight because of what I saw from him vs Juarez. But then the HBO crew was talking about him like he's a bum, so I got happy when he won.

I admit I just didn't knew much about him other than his win over Rocky Juarez, from that fight on I thought he was a good fighter and would give anyone within his weight class some problems. So yeah, he does deserve credit for being a 13-1 underdog and winning like that.

The judge who gave the fight to Caballero is gay BTW.

Got major love for Jason. He showed a lot of heart in there that so many fighters seem to lack. Wish him the best and hope he gets a good payday because he earned it. He probably busted his ass for this fight.

Maybe he should campaign at 130 or 135, he definitely looked much stronger and sturdy at that weight.

He always seemed way too big for 126.

I bet on the over and breifly thought about putting $10 on him, but thought it was a waste of a perfectly good dime. Should've put it on him, Litzau fought his heart out.

Not even close to a 50-50.... I've been following Litzau for about 4+ years now.. The Guerrero knockout was devastating... I don't know about 13-1, but he was and should of been a big underdog in this fight..

Guerrero is an excellent fighter though, he did get cold ****ed (and beat up) but hard to hold that lose to badly against him considering the opposition.

You could say that again. 13-1 underdog. ****, a little $150 would have gotten me something nice in return.

I'm not saying Guerrero is a bad fighter, I'm saying Litzau came back from a crushing knockout.

Earlier post on one of reeds topic I gave Litzau a small chance at winning but a chance none the less, either way great win for the kid.
