Marquez isn't your typical Mexican style boxer, its the reason why Manny has had so much problems with him.

Berto, though young and full of piss and vinegar, isn't a polished fighter. He'll more than likely get KO'd by Manny due to all the holes in his game.

Actually, the world knows that he more than likely won both fights, otherwise no one would want to see them do it again. If he had lost both fights, and everyone thought that, no one would bother with talking about it.

As it stands though, he just doesn't have it anymore. He's still great, but not as great as he used to be while Pac is still in his prime. Six years younger than Marquez and by the time they fight,if they do, he will be pushing 40 years old. It's too much this time around after having to move up to 147 if the ****s make him do that. Not worth it to have NSB *******s saying he deserved to lose or calling him a piss drinking **** when we are seeing the end of one of the modern eras greatest warriors. **** me, but the people around here are douche bags. Can't see a warrior worth more pennies than 99% of other fighters today if it slapped them in the face.

You should move on bro, Marquez doesn't have it anymore. Fghting a non-rated fighter like Katsidis didn't prove anything. Katsidis was beaten by two Casamayor and Juan Diaz so what's the fuss. You are overly in love with Marquez brother. Just let it go. Marquez is a good fighter, but he didn't win against Pacquiao. The judges said so and mos t said so. So stop dreaming.

Marquez, we love you bro and you have proven to be a great fighter. You've made many people proud with your warrior approach in every fight.

I know you want that third fight but it's really not a good idea at anything 140 and above. I know you would give us a great show but I don't want to see you looking like you did against Floyd.

Agree! He is the best! Better than Ali or Leonard. Schaefer is surely the FOTY for 2010. What weight is he from? Hope he fights Marquez. It will be an exciting fight. Schaefer is the next big thing in Boxing. Watch for him!

Yeah, I agree. In his prime he always gives Pac hell or beats him but by the time they fight now he'll be 38 years old! He's not nearly as quick, sharp etc and he was in his prime and his reflexes and defense have slowed enough that moving up to 147 to fight a guy in his prime years and a good weight for him would be very hard.

The sad thing is that if Pac beats him, and I imagine he will more convincingly than before, people will remember him as having clearly won the trilogy and yet he will be facing an old, past prime version of a guy that would always give him serious trouble in his prime. Making Marquez move up to 147 is as BS as it gets. Pac would have absolutely no trouble whatsoever making 140, as Ariza and Roach always harp on about who easy he could do it when facing bigger guys, and yet in this fight they are now switching their stance as suits them and saying Pac is a 147 pounder and they don't want to drain him by going to 140? It's a damn joke.

Marquez should not fight above 140. It takes too much out of him and there is not enough left for him to really be the same as before anyway. This was a hard fight for him and being nearly forty years old, plus moving up again, to fight a guy that's still in his prime, as he was in their last fight while Marquez was just starting to move to the other side of prime, would prove a bit too much.

Whatever the case, I think we'll keep seeing Pac fighting old guys like Mosley or Marquez (Marquez is obviously still in better shape than Mosley who is now just plain shot and wouldn't prove a damn thing, but Marquez is still coming on forty years old and has been in tough fight after tough fight in recent years) or guys coming off bad losses. Before he retires he needs to prove something more than what he has so far if people are going to keep calling him an ATG of the caliber that people say he is. As it stands, he doesn't belong with the ATG guys who his fans believe he does.

While a Marquez fight would be good, all it does is prove he can beat a past it version of Marquez while he's still in his prime and that he would always struggle with a prime version. If anyone thinks he's still ins his prime, well, you don't know ****.

Whatever you say bro, Pacquiao is now an "All Time Great" or many is now calling him "The Greatest of All Time". I admire your love for Marquez. But Marquez should move on and make a name for himself and not using Pacquiao's name. He will on be a secon in Pacquiao's achievements. So if he wants to become great, he should fight bigger guys not B+ rated fighters.
