I think some of it is promoting the fight (which so many boxing fans ***** saying a bunch of boxers suck at), so I'm not going to complain about it...

I think he's ****y, but so what? The way he fights has made me a fan of him. He's smart, he's a competitor, and he's just a fun boxer to watch. Always interesting at least...

Maybe he should fight crap opposition like Mayweather, Pacquiao and the klitschkos? Since fans care more about "looking good" rather than quality of opponents.

Yes, because beating Margarito, Cotto, Clottey, Hatton, and Oscar is such a terrible resume. You're an ignorant fool, and David Haye is **** and fights the weakest heavyweights yet you didn't bring up his name.

He's a very sound boxer, rock solid chin, good power. Footwork will get it done against the people he's fought so far with the exception of Dirrell(Dirrell fought that fight terribly in the first half). Also seems to have some slickness to him. He also has heart.

He's just sound all around. Not great at any one thing, but good at plenty of thing's.

I think he's more awkward in the ring than he appears to be. I don't see him being beaten until he fights Ward.

Glen Johnson is the man and I see the Froch fight as a war, but as of right now, I see Froch giving him the goods too. In a close fight, similar to the Cloud fight.

Froch is slow and gets sloppy at times, but he has solid timing, power, defense, toughness, and great confidence. His accuracy is great with his jab (bad with every other punch), watch the Kessler fight and watch how many times he lands lead or counter jabs (arguably won that fight and I won money on Mikkel in that fight).

He lost to Dirrell and Kessler.

Jermain Taylor is a recognizable name, not a good win at 168.

Pascal victory was good, especially after Pascal beat Dawson. He's also beaten Abraham.

Far from elite, but in this day and age, it doesn't seem like you have to do much to gain the status of elite.

I don't get it. Maybe I'm not enlightened enough to understand the true silkiness of his skills, but to me, he looks slow, awkward and not particularly powerful. And he wins! A lot! Glen Johnson taxes that ass, though.

Glad another agrees, since there are still people claiming he got sonned and had no case.

I think his jab has gotten better even since the Kessler fight, too.
