Marquez is not a young cat but he is still a great boxer and not past his prime,he just beat the #1 contender by ko ,Katsidis was no bum.on the other hand I think he is running his mouth too much about Margarito and Cotto because they would both beat his ass, and Paquiao of today would finish him and Im a fan of Marquez not Pac

Nah man, you're looking at it wrong, JMM likes fighting guys with his back to the ropes.

He's never been a guy who moved all around the ring anyway. He uses angles and turns guys quick to counter them.

He's definitely showed his age in his last few fights, but he's so damn masterful it doesn't even matter half the time.

Yea Marquez is truly one of the best.....his fights are always entertaining and even just watching the way he puts punches together is enough to tune in and watch.

Marquez is still a decent level operator even if age is coming of him. I do agree Marquez has probably 3 fights or so left in him before heading into retirement (let's not kid ourselves here). Marquez is still Marquez, just a bit slower and less stamina, apart from that his technical ability is still great.
