Pac dropped him 3x when JMM was 30 years old. That was a good shot by Katsidis. If Kats hit JMM in the same spot, JMM would get knockdown.

Sorry Marquez fans, Pac spanks him from here on out..
Can I ask you something kiddo? Is Katsidis, Manny Pacquiao? Does he fight like Pacquiao? Does he usually throw looping left hooks?

I was shocked Katsidis dropped him. More shocked that he used his left hand to do it.

I'm laughing at your pathetic logic. "He got dropped by Katsidis! He'll get killed by Pacquiao!" One of the ******est posters on this damn board. Take your dick sucking else where.

First off Katsidis is not the same caliber of fighter as Pac...second of all in his prime, he would not have fought in the pocket trading with and inside fighter like Katsidis and allow himself to get hit like that.

But even JMM likes to trade, like the 1st Pac fight. JMM got skills but it does not mean he can't be knockdown during his prime, JMM will leave an opening that Kats will take advantage off.

Not sure if you watched tonight's fight, but JMM himself beat Katsidis very decisively. He took a clean left hook, went down, got up and proceeded to administer a very impressive beat down on a very hungry, fit and inspired fighter. I saw very little to criticize in JMM's performance. I was waiting for a slippage given the pressure I knew that Kats would bring, but I didn't see it. I've been watching JMM fight for a while now and I, for one, was very impressed to see him fight at this level at this stage of his career. Awesome performance. You apparently seem to think that JMM used to fight like Floyd back in the day, but I assure you he did not. He has always been a counter-puncher who loves to counter in the pocket. Btw, Casamayor went life and death with Katsidis. I hate to say he was lucky to win, but check out that fight again. Casamayor shocked himself.

Not sure if you can understand what im typing. I am not criticizing Marquez. In my opinion he is one of the best offensive fighters and combination puncher of my generation. But he is showing his age. Ive never seen him just wait in the pocket and try to counter. He is usually agressive when he finds an opening but he usually did not stand in front of his opponents and wait for them to throw so he can counter. He is not using his legs as he used to. His punches are still accurate, but part of his game is slipping

Me too and I agree completely. I hate to admit it, but Pac would smoke him if they fought. His quickness, footwork and reflexes have declined; he's there to be hit.

Yes JMM does show a lot of wear and tear. I hope he retires soon.
