Truth be told....history has shown he has struggled with Marquez...and Marquez best success wasn't so much with him countering (although that played a role) but him finishing off combos better and taking the fight to Manny at the right time while not getting reckless.

The dude saying there's no comparison is correct.

Tell me Judah, Corley, and Mitchell are anywhere near Pacquiao in terms of overall package, and you might as well stamp "****ING FOOL" on your forehead. They're not. And no one is going to out-technique Floyd. If he loses, it'll be to someone awkward and unique, a la Pacquiao, with unconventional angles and combinations, et cetera.

And as for the previous comment I made about jabbing not being enough to deter Pacquiao, someone wrote he was dominated by Morales and Marquez, but my point is that Pacquiao got to them, and he got to them with solid shots eventually. Jabbing wouldn't be enough. Straight rights are another story.

But lastly, the reason people bring up the southpaw **** is that Floyd struggled in those fights. Corley rocked him (and he can't punch) and Judah scored a knockdown that was unscored. And both of them are inferior to Manny.

Jabbing a southpaw is a bad idea. Especially the ones the caliber of Pac or Sergio.

Martinez is a far-more complete fighter than Floyd on a technical level.
Did DLH really break Floyds nose? I don't remember that but that's funny.

back on topic, I think the OP nailed it, very good analysis.
I think Maravilla would beat Money but not dominate him.
Pac only stands a chance against either because of his peak human hand speed IMO. H is boxing has improved tremendously but he still makes mistakes that no one has really been able to capitalize on quite yet but can be exposed with a fighter the caliber of Mara. Floyd / Pac would be a spectacle ( to a real boxing fan not a bandwagon fan who doesn't understand the science) but I give the victory to Floyd by decision. Even though the conflict of southpaws and Pacs uppercut weight against him, his boxing knowledge and skill set combined with his defensive 6th sense should win him the fight in the long run, with the exception of a possible KO if Pac can really catch him slipping (no pun intended) and land a solid devastating counter uppercut or combination.

An opponent would need to create the proper spacing by stepping back on his backfoot, and then counter Pacquiao with a right punch over the top (of Manny's left). Morales adds that an opponent should periodically back up against Pacquiao. That enables the opponent to get leverage, and to shock an unsuspecting Manny with the right counter.

An opponent can neutralize Manny's right jab with a left straight counter, by spacing himself to Manny's right side. (Margarito possesses a 73" reach while Pacquiao has a 67" reach.) Morales hints that counterpunching Pacquiao is a way to keep him at bay, and that a savvy opponent should continuously circle around to the Filipino's right side in order to hurt him with left counters.

Finally, Erik Morales says that Pacquiao's high punch output makes him vulnerable to a straight right punch. It would need to be timed perfectly. The key to maximum effectiveness would be to deliver the blow with sufficient power. Morales thinks the element of surprise is critical against an elite fighter like Manny Pacquiao. When the Filipino moves forward, an opponent can bait him by stepping back and hurling a big right.

          ~ Erik Morales

Even Morales knows the key is to success is COUNTER-PUNCHING and TIMING.

Key to beating May is body punching, something Manny knows little about

He's going to stay aiming for the face, and will lose cause thats the hardest place to hit Floyd

This reply for morales as well as yours just agreed with what I was saying. I never said counterpunching wasn't a key....just there will be more to it than that. Floyd will have to make Manny fight going backwards as well as timing him when he tries to come in. Also he will have to slow his work rate down and while he may be able to do that will countering.....I feel he will have more success trying clinch and fight on the inside.

Again you just can't say counterpunching alone beats Manny because this isn't true. You have to have more versatility than that, and Morales I as well as both Marquez fights proved that. Both backed Manny up at times as well as took the fight to him.

Yes he is. The problem is his tendency to stay in his shell and let his opponents pile up points due to his inactivity.

You don't think he is....tell that to Judah and others and he was countering the **** outta those guys (as well as Manny when he opened up).

I like this part of your post. Most people just think Floyd should ONLY potshot and fight off the backfoot against manny, but Floyd is much better than manny in the clinches and on the inside. The awkward angles of being a southpaw also mean nothing on the inside, so that's a cherry on top. manny doesn't like bodyshots, and Floyd can land them more easily at close quarters.

manny's recent opponents didn't know how to clinch or fight going backwards. Floyd knows how to counter, clinch, and fight on the inside.
