I hope this fight doesn't happen along with the Morales fight because these are fights that should have happened years ago. At this stage of his career Marquez will just be another tune up for Pac at 140/147. Marquez should try his luck at Marcos Maidana if he pulls off the win over Amir and just call it a career.Comment

Marquez HYDRATED to 145 on fight night against Katsidis!!! Manny hydrated to 148 against Margarito!!! So it's not idiotic for both of them to fight each other at 147!!! Neither fighter has to starve themselves at the weigh-in!!! IN YOUR FACE!!!!!! LOL

Don't pretend that you know anything about boxing, and then try to compare fight-night weight to the actual weigh-in requirement. You are being either naive or dishonest.
147 would allow the larger fighter, Manny, to have a HUGE advantage over the career-featherweight Marquez. Marquez is not effective above 135. Even at 140, Manny would still have a significant advantage, and he could EASILY make 140 according to Freddie Roach and Alex Ariza.
