I agree catchweights are bull****, fighters should just fight at the weights that are there already. But if the other side agrees to it then you can't blame Manny or Roach, it's a fair fight, he didn't force them to accept the fight.

If the other side accepts the weight then it means they feel comfortable at the weight. I noticed nobody moaned about the catchweight when Martinez knocked out Williams. If one of Manny's opponents beat him people wouldn't even mention the catchweight, but because Manny wins people get jealous and have a problem with it.

Just an all around dumb post. It figures that it would come from a limey slag.

According to trainer Freddie Roach, any fighter who wants to face Manny Pacquiao from the junior welterweight division, or below, will have to move up the full welterweight limit of 147-pounds. Roach will not agree to any catch-weight between 140 and 147. If Juan Manuel Marquez, Devon Alexander or Timothy Bradley want Pacquiao, they must agree to 147 or the fight won't happen.

as for jr ww, i understand that pac calls the shots, ESPECIALLY if he is giving these kids a career high payday PREMATURELY.... khan/alexander/bradley/maidana/etc havent earned the shot. although pac beating some young dudes would be a nice change... it all depends, either an ELITE faded fighter... or an INEXPERIENCED young fighter... both ways, pac dominates.

sergio @ 150 (even 152)... if sergio wants the payday & recognition, he needs to get on that same deal as margs. if pac wants to put a stamp on his greatness, then he should fight sergio @ 154 & unify.
