A great champion that advocates following rules would fight at the weight limit. The Cotto fight was making mockery of the sport of boxing and it's rules especially when Pac's very next fight was @ 147. If Pac is so good accept Sergio's challenge or fight Marquez @ 140.

No rule is being violated... The catchweights he fought in are still within the limits. He once fought over the limit of flyweight (not sure if it's accurate) way back when he was not yet as popular as he is now and he got stripped of his championship and lost via TKO. He never b*tched about it. He just moved on and moved up the weight ladder.

so Pac can dictate what he wants, but when Floyd wants drug testing he can't. Makes sense.

so roach doen't want his fighter coming in anything under 147 because it makes pacquiao uncomfortable,did he ever stop to think that when pac wanted his opponents to come at the weight he wanted it made them uncomfortable?..these guys(pac,roach) are funny...they want all the advantages in their favor,it's ok for them to ask the opponent to sacrifice the weight,that means no marquez fight,but marquez wants the fight badly that he probably will agree to go up,and eventually he'll lose

The problem with manny facing jmm at 147 is when manny beats him, people and jmm will say he was defeated at a weight that he is not used to. Even at 140, jmm will say the same thing. De la Hoya is going to say he was robbed again.
