Have we got a bet, 'lex?

Of course, I suspect that Roach and Arum are going to force (again)
a special weight stipulation in the 150-152 lb range... if only for the
sake of messing with the opponent/throwing their weight around.
Those two bastards are just relentless, lol...

on a 154 lbs, how many pounds do you think would sergio rehydrate?

let us assume come in at same weight he has against margo.

there is a huge difference between the two, while sergio's speed isnt compromised.

pac may win on UD. however, how pac will absorb sergio's punch?

        If Pac wasn't a champ at 154, I would've been okay with a catch weight of 150.
But seeing as how he now holds a belt holder in that division, I feel its only right of Pac to solidify his stake in that territory, not water it down.

          No prob, man.

Again, the likelihood is that their promoters will settle on a special
weight stipulation of 152 or so --just to allow TR/Roach the vanity
of knowing they forced the other side to cave in.

Maybe 8-14 lbs., depending on how wisely he drains.
That puts Sergio at 168 max (his normal fighting weight at MW)
with up to a 24 lb advantage over Manny. That's huge, but again,
I say Pac beats Sergio under those conditions (it might be TKO
if Sergio agrees to 150-152). If Sergio were to do a PWill and then
offer to drain down to 147 (lols) he'd get KTFO.

PWill had shit defense, and I don't see Pac being as sloppy and
open. Pavlik? Gimme a break. It's better to focus on what Sergio
showed of his own capabilities in those two fights, and then
look at what Pac showed of his, versus Plaster.

Undiminished, Sergio suffers a speed/stamina/output deficit vs Pac.

A flush shot on the button aside, Pac will absorb Sergio's punch the
same way he took Marg's. Fractured ribs, concussion maybe, but
he'll give better than he gets, rearrange Sergio's face and win UD/SD.

The question for Pac is whether the prize is worth the damage:
If Sergio's MW strap really is on the table, I say it's worth it...

But his longterm health is his business, and I can respect a decision
on his part to 'pass' on Sergio's offer. In any case, this isn't happening
as Pac's next fight: he'll take a lighter opponent to stay busy, maybe
JMM or Berto. If Floyd is still "not thinking about boxing" at that point,
we may see Pacquiao Martinez in November 2011, followed by Pac's
          well-deserved retirement.

Sergio would murder Pac at 154.

150 is total BS and no way Sergio can make that weight.

meaning. its quiet understandable if fight doesnt happen.

pac wouldnt risk himself the way sergio would.

Technically Yes, He's too small. Even Pacquiao has limitations.
