My guess would be Sergio would be too big for him having the skills that he has. Duran hung with Hagler though, so maybe Pac could do it. Beating Martinez at 154 would be one of the best wins Ive ever witnessed.
lets discuss this: PAC vs Sergio @150

maybe not the greatest but yea, it would be up there, and certainly Pacs biggest win up to date.Comment

As I said in the other thread:
For a JMW title defense...
If Pac wants to weigh in at 144, that's his legit choice.
If Sergio wants to weigh in at 154 that's his right.
If Sergio agrees to come in at 150, that's his legit choice...
...and it will still be a legit JMW title defense because it's all under 154.
And sorry, Jro, but if Sergio wants to sweeten the pot with his MW strap,
that would be perfectly weightclass-legal too, because it's under 160.
BTW I think Pac takes Sergio to the cleaners at 150, and probably beats
him handily at 154 as well. By Round 4 it might be painfully evident that
Maravillosa had bit off far more than he could chew.
Margarito was a POS opponent, but I saw enough in Pac's performance.
Sergio's last two victories similarly showed me what I can expect from him.Comment

And I don't think Manny is willing to fight at 154lbs he knows that his chances of winning on that wieght is just to small. It ain't a 50-50. I think its a 20-80 fight in favor of Sergio.
If ever Manny agrees to fight Sergio at 154lbs then I would bet real money on Sergio.
Have we got a bet, 'lex?
Of course, I suspect that Roach and Arum are going to force (again)
a special weight stipulation in the 150-152 lb range... if only for the
sake of messing with the opponent/throwing their weight around.
Those two bastards are just relentless, lol...
