marin, whatever you think of roy he is a fighter. i know you don't like him but fighters all have a sense of pride. he's citisized for ducking...now that roy's stepped up and was willing to put his legacy (and life) on the line to fight the recognized undisputed lightheavy in the division who rocked him twice he's STILL being critisized...a while ago you said you fought in the amateurs, how about you give your fellow fighter some due respect?

To be honest with you cvt, I'm not really giving Roy Jones a lot of dissrespect. I'm just stating facts, that's all.

Roy Jones Junior shouldn't be fighting Tarver... He's being an idiot. He's putting his life at risk to fuel his own ego, and to me it seems like a pointless exercise anyway. It doesn't really matter whether he wins or loses this fight.

I respect many fighters... But with Roy Jones it's different. There just seems to be a dirty odour in the air around him, and his actions in the past have not been that of an honourable fighter. He doesn't represent the true spirit of what Morales and Pacquiao did recently... Roy Jones Junior is a great talent but he's spent his career doing circus events, being arrogant and beating on guys that aren't ranked in the top 10 in the World. Yet he never steps up and fights any other man that might present a danger too him. (It's a little bit like being a bully, only more of an ego thing than being a bully).

Roy Jones Junior - The guy who never wanted to fight until it was way too late.

Well for one it's common knowledge how he's spent his whole career ducking other fighters... But do you remember this?

Roy Jones Junior received a little bit of a gift decsion in the RJJ vs Tarver 1 fight... No worries that **** happens in boxing, (I wish it didn't but it does).

But after that fight he went to the WBC and tried to have Tarver removed as the mandatory because he deemed Tarver "Not a worthy challenger!?!"... LOL!...

As expected, the WBC threw it back in his face and basically said to him, "Not this time Roy, You ain't taking us down with you".

Roy wanted to go back to fighting nobodies but for the 1st time in his career he was actually having to pefrom the role of a champion and fight who they tell you to fight.

As we know... He got sparked out in the 2nd round.

So why has Roy Jones decided to fight Tarver now? It really does baffle me... It's way too little way too late if he's atempting build himself some kind of broken legacy?

With all due respect, Tarver seems like a relly nice guy but he's not exactly a great fighter.

Does anyone know what Roy Jones Junior's sneaky little angle is this time? - What's he up too?
I dont think you like Roy too much, correct me if I'm wrong? It's for all you people out there that he decided to take this fight, so all you people can jump back on the band wagon after he wins and you can all then say how great he was and how much you like him after you put him down time after time after his KO loss that you happened to lose money on so your pissed at him. 3 words Get over it!
