He has to prove that he can beat different styles, we know he cant beat come forward brawler types, but what about guys who box?

Or maybe, just maybe they wanted to test out how they feel against a bigger guy in Marg and see how they would do against somebody that size.

And, maybe just maybe they felt uncomfortable in the ring against somebody that size. That made them decide that no we're too small to be fighting against somebody this size and this weight.

Pac was hit hard in that fight, he even admitted that he was hurt after that fight. He had to cancel appearances because he was still in pain couple of days later after that fight.

So could it be it, that they tried to see how the feel and didn't like and took there small ass back to WW? Is that at all possible?

Come on man! Lets keep it 100 here. Manny is going to be
small no matter who he goes against in the higher weights.
Manny fought De La Hoya, Cotto, Clottey who were bigger
and stronger than him and he did just fine. Roach knows
what Manny is capable of and so does Pac himself. Manny
is capable of dominating slow, no defense fighters but a
live wire like Martinez would be too much and able to win
over Pac and that's the reason why the fight won't happen.
Margarito was just put there to make Pac look good while
he won his 8th division catchweight title. Margarito wasn't
even ranked there to get a title shot.

Former LMW champ and current MW champ Sergio Martinez who stands 5'10 and fought MOST of his career at 147 and 154 is exposing the fact that Pac's opponents have been selected to suit his style. As Bernard made a very solid argument with styles, racial yes but it is solid as Pac's record speaks for itself.

Martinez is in fact smaller than Hoya who stands 5'10 1/2 even though Hoya couldn't hydrate to his "normal" size because he hadn't been at 147 in a decade but that's not Pac's fought right?

Martinez is in fact smaller than Margarito who stands 5'11 and "agreed" to a catchweight of 150 but it's not Pac's fought that Cheato couldn't fully hydrate to his "normal" weight right? It's not Pac's fault these BIGGER guys where shot and couldn't fully hydrate to there "normal" size....

Martinez wants to challenge Pac for his OLD title and offer Pac a NEW title to add to his other 8 (so to speak), why would this be a problem? Because Pac cant make it past 147 let alone 154? That's not Martinez's fault or OUR fault now is it? Pac has a title at 154. Fact. Martinez held that title back in June and wants to fight for it. What's the problem?

Martinez vs Pac at 154, or else it validates that Pac has been "hand picking" bums to suit his style, wants and needs in order to win.

Man people are really going to hate "nice guy" Martinez because of exposing Pac. Mayweather already exposed pac is scared of needles, blood and strenuous PED testing. Mosley and Roach have exposed that Pac doesn't want to fight "too good" fighters. Arum has exposed that he doesn't like to deal/share money with Golden Boy or Floyd....

Man Pac's really feeling the pressure now. What if Floyd returns and accepts Pac's alleged contract he sent stating that he WILL IN FACT take unlimited and random OST up until the fight with ZERO cut offs or warnings of when the tests will be? Will he fight Mayweather? Will he fight Martinez? Or will they hand select Mosley who hasn't won a fight since 2008, or JMM at 147 when we already know he cant fight there. Or will it be Cotto II?

the problem is martinez isn't a beat up fighter,he isn't coming off a defeat ...so the answer is no,manny will not fight him...the only way is if you get beat up in your next fight and come down to 150 and are weak,thats the only way

And Pac was destroyed by a couple of fighters that we don't
even hear about no more. Hell Pac got flamed up by JMM.
Williams was a better win than De La Hoya, Cotto, Clottey
and Margarito put together. Williams beat Margarito back
when he was winning and Martinez technically beat Williams
twice, the first being a controversial decision and the 2nd
fight a blow out! When was the lat time Pac fought anyone
that EVERYONE thought would beat him? (Not just me).

so pac was seriously hurt vs margarito??????? Hell no he got hit a few times and it did nothing to him! And if he did get hurt its a part of boxing he was never in any sort of danger of losing not even close!!!! The fight wasnt even competitive at all pac won every round in convicing fashion, peice of cake for pac! But now martinez is mentioned and he was hurt vs marg so they pull out of the division?

U get the 154 title at a 150 catchweight to make history... Everyone brags on the acomplishment talking about how hes killing all these bigger fighters... But then it comes time to defend it against the best in the division n hes just too big???

More excuses. Wasn't singing that tune when he was fighting
and winning against them bigger guys but now people are asking
too much of him to fight a top P4P fighter (Martinez) who Pac's
vacant title belongs to Martinez, who is challenging Pac for it?

There is NO argument here. Pac has 154 "title". He fought for it. He won it, regardless of how shyt and shot the guy he beat to get it was. It's not Pac's fault right????

Why are we lowering the standards just to suit Pac?

I mean really, some of you are REALLY digging and trying your little hearts out to defend this 150 vs fighting at 154 where the commission set the standard at.

Why do we hold such low standards for Pac? He wanted to claim a title at 154. He did. Now its time to man up and ACTUALLY earn that title. Not "cherry pick" it. Again Martinez is exposing Arum, Roach and Pac's "selections"...

My post was serious in a non-serious way. It was dead on but with humor. Come on, you know the logic, or lack of with some of the posters here. It makes sense and very easy to understand.

If you claim that Pac holds a "title" at 154 than there is NO argument as weather Martinez who stands 5'10 and fought MOST OF HIS CAREER at 147 and 154 is legit or not.

Martinez is claiming what is RIGHTFULLY his and is willing to offer a bonus to Pac in "Pac's style" of things. (He doesn't even have to weigh at MW to win it). Why is this now such a no no?
