I admit Pac has catchweight history too, but Mayweather didn't catch enough flack for that whole debacle. People were so mezmerized by his dominating Marquez that it was like.. w/e Mayweather would have kicked his ass at any weight.

I think most people were smart enough to realize that, out of the ring for two years, Marquez was clearly a tune-up. Had Floyd fought another tune-up after Marquez, he would've gotten plenty of flak and deservedly so. Which is why Pacquiao fans need to be slapped in the face. They've watched two mediocre matchups on PPV and are searching for ways to make excuses for the third one coming to a hood near you.

The first poll choice is hilarious. I don't know why you guys use that "he is waiting for Manny to slow down" logic. It doesn't make any sense, considering, Floyd is older and is only getting older by the day and being inactive. Not to mention that he has shown that he has declined a bit.

But, this is NSB, I expect those kind of logic, quite honestly.

Well if one guy is non stop fighting opponents and getting roughed up at times in the process, then he will gain mileage while his opponent is on vacation/relaxing. Similar to how Leonard sat back and waited till he saw signs of wear and tear in Hagler against Mugabi before stepping in the ring. Guys like Gatti or Morales who engage in lots of serious fighting slow down before guys who potshot or pure box.
