When Povetkin slips up and gets knocked out by a lucky punch from one of the cans Teddy has him fighting, Teddy will walk away and claim that Sascha never had it in him to be great anyway. Teddy will never take the blame.

Damn Povetkin is really fighting nothing but world-beaters lately

Nicolas Firtha has been KOed by Tye Fields, and has losses to Nevin Pajkic, Lamar Stephens, Manuel Quezada, and Franklin Lawrence.

In his last fight, Firtha had a MD win over Mike Sheppard, the bum that Denis Boytsov destroyed Friday with four knockdowns in two rounds.
I watched that Boytsov fight. That guy has some 'tude! I like the German AC/DC sounding band he uses for his ring walk, too. The guy he fought was a total joke who went down once when a punch came close to his chin and missed -- they need to step up Boytsov's competition big time. But Boytsov has star quality for sure.

As for Michael Grant, Teddy tore him down to where he could barely get out of bed in the morning. Teddy is a destroyer of souls. He's a very special person, and not in a good way.

Klitschkos are hated in the U.S.? Really. Funny, I live in the U.S. and have very high regard for them. Generalizations are almost never true.

I am sure there are some boxing fans in the U.S. who don't like the Klitschkos style. I am sure there are some in the U.K., Germany, France, etc. who don't like the Klitschkos. Nobody is universally loved.

The truth is most of the 300 million people in the U.S. have absolutely no idea who the Klitschkos are. 98 percent probably have no idea who Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao are, and they've received much more publicity

Boystov should start fighting taller opponents to get used to the size difference when he fights Wlad.I suggest Alexander Dimitrenko. Boystov has talent and very long arms though, anyone know what his reach is?.

Funny how people mention Povetkin fighting bums but they don't criticise Boystov for doing the same, and Povetkins career was being managed wrong even before Atlas came to the picture.

It was strange, Povetkin is in obscurity now without even having a pro loss thanks to Teddy.

I see the "glass half full" with Povetkin and I'm still optimistic that he can make some 'noise' (again) in the hw division. Contrary to many posters here, his last opponent wasn't a bum. Tekke Oruh was in good shape and was in there to win and he gave Povetkin some much needed rounds.

Boytsov is 24, Povetkin is 31: big difference. No need to hurry with Boytsov, though I agree they need some better competition than a guy who goes down from the air currents of a missed punch.

Everybody in the Sheepshead Bay/Brighton Beach area of Brooklyn sure knows who the Klitschkos are!

The fact that old-timers in the US boxing media dislike the Klitschkos skews things and makes it seem as if Americans don't like them. However, the younger boxing scribes like Dan Rafael have no problem with the brothers and like and respect them. As the old-time cranks like Burt Sugar and his ilk die off, the Klitschkos will get more respect in the US.

ages aside, boystov isn't an olympic gold medallist with back to back wins over chris byrd and eddie chambers, and didn't pass up a mandatory title shot

i think boystov's biggest win is vinny maddalone. He's an excellent prospect who is SUPPOSED to be fighting gatekeepers to promote himself. Povetkin is basically high-risk sparring and going backwards.
