What the f**K are you responding to peabrain. I said Wlad has blistering offence. I said it would interesting to watch the defensive master deal with giant Wlad's blistering offence. F***ing hell.

What has been so blistering about his offense in his last couple of fights out of curiousity?

I dont know who is a more potent offensive fighter than Wlad and I dont know a better defensive fighter at heavyweight than Toney. You can agree or disagree on that. I just think Toney vs Wlad because of their styles and difference in size makes an intriguing matchup.

          Good points.

But with Vitali, there is what he should do with his natural physical gifts and boxing skills and what he actually does.

          Big difference.

Vitali should have taken out Corrie Sanders. Rahman did when Sanders was younger and more in shape. Vitali should have taken out Danny Williams earlier. But Williams kept coming back for more. Many, including myself, feel that a healthy Tyson would have KO'd Williams earlier than Vitali.

Vitali should have made short work of both out of shape men, but he didnt. Those fights lasted much longer than they should have.

Vitali should beat Toney (I dont think he'd KO Toney as he's too slick for Vitali). But what happens if this fight goes the distance? Wouldn't that look bad that Vitali had to go 12 rounds with a much smaller cruiserweight? If I were a judge and as the rounds progressed, that would look terrible for Vitali.

DId you just say you dont think that Vitali would KO Toney, give a good reason for that and then say it would look bad if he went 12 rounds with him all in the same paragraph??

I said he should. Or meant to say he should KILL Toney if they fought. But he usually doesn't perform like you'd think someone with his abilities should.

There is just no way in hell he should be going 10 rounds with Chris Byrd. But he did.

I think Toney is better than Byrd.

It would look bad that a 6'7 or however tall he is, boxer is going 12 rounds with a blown up cruiserweight.

              Now do you understand?

This is part of the reason why Vitali is a ***** in my mind. In addition, he's fought more bouts as of late in the courtroom. There is no excuse for ducking people like Vitali has and fighting the people he has since the Lewis fight.

Bad management as he failed to capitolize on the fans that like him after the Lewis fight.

Is that clearer or are you going to say it's OK that Vitali went the distance with the much smaller Byrd?

James Toney is good enough to beat anyone in the heavyweight division on any given day. He's a master of the sweet science and a scientist in the ring. He's also a natural fat-ass which makes him a natural in the division.

If he could only get some roids that they can't detect!

only a few days later, i almost cried when ruiz came out of retirement, toney was stripped and suspended, and ruiz was GIVEN the title back (on another ****ing silver platter) EVEN THOUGH HE LOST AGAIN.

toney is only the 3rd person to go from MW champion to HW champion (the other two are Bob Fitzsimmons and Roy Jones).
Toney never won the heavyweight title. The bout was declared a no-contest due to Toney being the cheating bum he is.
