Im a big fan of Manny but the honest truth I hate all the crap they come up with so you can fight him, I tend to give him credit for his victories but at the same time some of his fights hes getting to much credit when the fight before the contract was signed he was the winner


1. De La Hoya hadnt fought @ 147 for almost 8 years yet not only did he take the fight under the 147 limit in contract he was not allowed to rehydrate and gain weight ...outcome= a skinny dehydrated Oscar that couldnt move

2. Ricky Hatton what do I have to say the guy runs with his hands down and chin in the air worse part Manny was credited a 6th division title for a title thats not even sanctioned IBO come on now WBO as it is gets **** IBO is a WWE belt

3. Miguel Cotto same as Oscar had to fight at a few pounds lighter and contract stated he couldnt come in any heavier, WBO ordered the title to be on the line if not they would strip him of the belt and then put it as the vacant belt for them to fight for total BS so basically Manny was guaranteed to win his 7th division title

4. Joshua Clottey no big threat since he dont throw any punches he looked like a moving punching bag if you really though Clottey had a chance to win you dont know anything about boxing

5. Antonio Margarito too slow throws wide punches just the perfect opponent for Manny to look good against they didnt care about what weight he came in for the fight since he wasnt a threat he had no boxing skills and the heavier he came in was only gonna make him slower and once again Manny guaranteed to win his 8th division title the biggest BS of them all

the last good fighter he faced was Marquez but now they say that if they fight again it has to be at 147 where Marquez looked like crap one way or another they will get what they want and Marquez will lose although I thought he won the 2nd fight and could of easily won the 1st

how about fighting Mosley really ....Mosleys too old runs out of juice and has no chance of beating Pacman

Martinez too big yet they just fought Margarito who weighed in at almost 3 divisions higher oh wait once again hes too slow and no boxing skills... this means if Martinez wants this fight he will have to dehydrate and make 147

True, but they are worlds apart when it comes to class, and it doesn't matter that Martinez' 1st loss was to Margarito because that was almost 11 years ago. Martinez is p4p'er. Margarito is a punching bag stripped of his plaster. Despite losing every round Margarito still hurt Pac. What would Martinez do to him?
