Calzaghe and Kessler have both been on HBO, HBO have had Hamed, Calzaghe, Golata, Adamek, Lewis on several times.

Khan, Bute, Kotelnik have all been on HBO recently. Sturm deserves to be on HBO if he gets a win over a big name opponent instead of some of the recent guys hes been fighting unfortunately there aren't many big names out there, Sylvester is an average righter in the grand scheme of things and lots of the best European fighters are tied up to showtime contracts like the super 6 fighters and the European Cruiserweights are well Cruiserweights who don't tend to feature on HBO even though there are some exciting fights to be made.

The Klitschko's aren't in particularly exciting fights even if they are dominant which seems to be the main reason they aren't featured on HBO recently their past fights have been on HBO. Remember Wonjongkam, Montiel, Ward, Dirrell, Acosta have all had very few if any HBO appearances.
Adamek was involved in 2 FOTY fights lost once to Dawson then was dropped by HBO. He had 1 more against Arreolla alomst 5 years later where he was expected to lose, won the fight and was dropped.

Kotelnyk was brought in to lose, schooled Alexander and robbed.

Bute was signed so HBO could stay relevent at 168 and is no longer with them.

Not like all of those were great experiences like you're making it sound.

Martinez should try and Unify with Pirog in Germany.

And he won't be fighting JC Chavez Jr because Bob Arum isn't ready to cash Chavez out yet, there's lots more $$$ to be made off him.

So Martinez will be stripped of the WBC title for sure, but he'll keep the Ring title.
Hey Freedom, would you agree that Sexy Sergio is in fact sexy..?

Now Sergio doesn't duck anybody, and will have no problem fighting Zbik if the money is right. But Ross Greenburg doesn't like European fighters, and so probably won't allow a fight between Zbik and Martinez to be on HBO.

So because of the HBO money, Martinez will choose a higher-paying fight against a non-European fighter. I can't blame him.

But will Martinez be stripped of his WBC title?

who cares, martinez shouldn't even care, all they want from him is his fees, nothing more, i don't know why any fighter covets these trinket belts. i got a belt, you got a belt, ours keep our pants up and cost pennies on the dollar, that big hunk of crap can't keep pants up and cost ridiculous amounts of money through sanctioning fees, dues, and god knows what other fees, fines, etc they charge fighters.

these belts have no credibility anymore, if at all? it's a hoax that has been long exposed in their meaninglessness. i wish more fighters would go by that and realize that it's not and has nothing to do with this overpriced belt, it has everything to do with your opponent and the purse you pull down for your fight. with the latter just being a moot point but the fact of the matter is, with a ranking system that goes by favors and payoffs, who the hell is the legit ranked fighter for mandatories? how many guys have we heard over the last few years who have been paid to step aside or keep their ranking and look the other way as someone passes them without earning it in the ring???? a bunch and it happens all the time.

belts are a joke, get rid of them, and save boxing from this terminal cancer that is these ABC sanctioning bodies........
