i thought a Floyd vs Martinez fight would be a toss up at 54, but it's clear Sergio can't make 54 anymore and he's actually a true MW. he is too big for Floyd who is a small welterweight despite what some clowns want to tell you. Manny is also too small for Sergio, who was fast and powerful even though he had to come down in weight so quickly and drop the extra 2 pounds.

You would have to favour Martinez over both Floyd and Manny.

nah, s-mart can make 154 lbs... he's just asking for the fight at 156 lbs to be above the 154 lbs weight limit.

wifebeater isn't a small WW. he can't even make 144 lbs and now (as opposed to before) he is probably around 155-160 lbs on fight night.

If Floyd were to Fight sergio who would you favor. I would favor Sergio.

I would actually favour Floyd. You don't lose a close fight to Paul Williams one time, then go onto beat Floyd Mayweather.

I also favour Jean Pascal over Martinez, because of a massive weight advantage. That's the point of pound for pound. You say, if they were the same weight who'd win, and whom has a better record.

Kinda sick of the over hyping at times. The idea that in 1/2 fights someone over takes someones achievements spiraling 5-10 fights just shows how knee jerk reaction peoples ranking of boxers can be. And don't tell me people were saying Sergio was on the level of Pac and Floyd pre Pavlik win.

First Pavlik's the best out there, then PW, now Sergio. As exciting as they are and we want them to achieve, they're not on the level of Pacman and Floyd on skills or achievements.

I'm a Sergio fan and Floyd hater, but Sergio should most certainly not be at #2 above Floyd.

Sergio has two losses, the only p4p fighter he's faced he's exchanged a win and a loss with, and is only one weight champion with one defense.

How on earth does that put him as a better p4p fighter all round, than Mayweather?

Kelly Pavlik was a top p4p fighter when Martinez fought him. And Kermit Cintron is a former champion.
