  • When Floyd retired on December 2007. ***** erased this on their memory:

Pac fought who? Marquez, Diaz, ODH, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito.

Mayweather fought who? Marquez (bloated btw), Mosley

How can you anyone justify Flyd to be the P4P #1? Is this the same as justifying a 147 fighter fighting at 151 as being "weight drained"?

    • If Sergio Martinez destruction of Paul Williams demotes
Mayweather. then Mayweather win over Mosley demotes
Pacquiao. Sergio Martinez win demotes Pacquiao as well
because Pacquiao beat a non ranked fighter at 154 at a
catchweight of 150, for Martinez's title he vacated. I think
Pacquiao has some kind of hypnotizing power to make
people forget how set up Pac's matches have been.
Pacquiao slacked off in most of his training camps
and still whupped the **** out of them guys.

mayweather is ducking pacman, therefore he became number 2, then he began cherry picking again, now he has gone number 3.
Flint has yet to figure that out. He like a lot Mayweather fans make the mistake of ranking Floyd based solely on his "talent" level, rather than recent accomplishments. Talent is great, however, in order to substantiate talent, it must be tested against worthy competition, that is how talent is measured. Possessing a talent is great...wasting it is not.

Most trainers yes and you can't argue that but you can't say Roach does this all time....

Roach said Mosley was "too good" as THE #1 WW from 141-147. The fight was never made (Is Mosley the Coward or is Pac the coward? Using Floyd haters logic that's a valid question.) THE #1 WW Mosley said "Pac is scared"..... as did Roach but not in an emotional stand point but more of a physical and technical standpoint. He was "too good".

Roach said "Pac wouldn't be ready for a fighter like Mayweather in March" in the first round of negotiations. Ironically enough in the second round, Mayweather went on "vacation" to court which is where Pac wanted to fight him in the first place. Point is, we had no fight. Both are to blame but Roach still said Pac wasn't ready for Mayweather (not that Pac would destroy Mayweather like he said about EVERYONE else) and no fight ever got made at that point and time.

Roach also called Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito fights to a "T"... The only fight I was personally wrong about was VS Cotto and "PULLCOUNTER" almost convinced me to change my mind but I was stuck on Cotto even with the "catchweight" bullshyt... It would be Pac's greatest win to date but its only good because we have Pac fighting Hoya at 147 but not Cotto which was for THE TITLE..... not to mention he hasn't fought THE CHAMP at 147 (weather you assume that is/was Mayweather or Mosley your correct)

Your attempting to twist the truth and justify why Roach said "No" to Mosley and Mayweather at certain points.... It seems you pick and chose a point and time and go with it to suit your agenda but horribly miss the over all picture of what you're trying to debate. At the end of the day Pac has been fighting in house, made to look good fights where as Sergio has been fighting LEGIT threats that almost everyone picked to beat him. Pwill was "the most feared man in boxing" he fought him twice. People like bring up the "what have you done for me lately" when it comes to Floyd Mayweather... well lets look at the 3 fighters here...

          2010:
Martinez: Pavlik (#1 MW), Williams (#2 MW)
          Mayweather: Mosley (#1 WW)
Pac: Clottey (#5 WW), Margarito (not ranked)

NOW, you do the math and YOU tell me (and Grus), WHAT HAS PAC DONE LATELY compared to the other two???????? What has Pac done since 2008 besides beat Top Rank fighters or washed up shot fighters?

Grus has a valid point at having P4P list as follows when looking at the "what have you done lately"...... even IF you don't agree IT is very arguable.

          1. Martinez
          2. Mayweather
          3. Pac

            Read my previous post.

You do have a great point by stating "Possessing a talent is great...wasting it is not"...

Still one must ask the "what have you done for me lately". Just look at both Mayweather and Pac's fights in 2010 let alone Martinez's. You do the math. It's not very hard.

            • ok this is quiet terrible!
sergio is a good fighter but #2?? nahh not yet .
#1 is Manny (he's active and has accompplished more then mayweather @ WW division in a shorter time and has fought more quality fighters period)
#2 Floyd- whether u like him or not, u gotta resect the skill level.
#3 Martinez- (he just did KO paul williams with one punch,, just not enough in my eyes to gain #2 and push floyd down a notch).

i think thats more then fair to everyone!

                    • Who the **** cares about Mike M's list anyway really? That's the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Give Martinez higher ranking when he just lost within the past year to Williams. Mayweather never lost!
