Debate: What would be more impressive for Mayweather, a Pacquiao win or Martinez win?

Which would be more impressive, IF and that's a big IF Mayweather fought and beat one of the two?

Not going to put up a poll because anyone could just vote without sharing a valid opinion to back their decision up. So just post what you think and why.

    equally impressive.

Both are at the top of their game.

Manny is more skilled but Sergio has the size advantage.

But let me just say this: I would be shocked if Floyd decides to fight Sergio.

Pacquiao. He is the fight the world wants to see.

          Either/or.

          From a mainstream standpoint, Pacquiao.

From a boxing standpoint, Martinez. For Pac's 6th weight division, he beat a lineal champion... Ricky Hatton. For Floyd's 6th weight division, he would also have to beat a lineal champion... Sergio Martinez. You tell me which is harder.

            Pacquiao..

In reality it would be Martinez but... he is probably 37 by the time Floyd could get round to facing him.. so even IF he beats him he gets the usual ****.. Martinez is too old or shot.. deespite coming of his biggest win ever

Both. I think they both can beat Floyd, but i like Martinez chance against Floyd better. I think he would make lesser mistakes since he's more comfortable and effective fighting at a slow tempo. Pacquiao's chance is to stay active enough to make Floyd fight at Clottey's pace. Pac's in and out style is more effective against slow non-moving targets.

It's a tough one. I'd have to go with Pacquiao. I am torn between the two though. It's seems about even. I was discussing this with one of my friends just now so I figured I'd ask NSB what they think.

I wouldn't say that. But i like his chance better against Floyd despite not having the same speed and punching power like Manny has.
