Martinez = 5'10
Hoya = 5'10 1/2
Margarito = 5'11

So has Pac been "selecting" drained and shot fighters to validate that a fight with Martinez is understandingly a huge "mismatch" as Sergio is actually a real threat and just "too good" or is Martinez actually a legit opponent for Pac to face as he is in fact smaller than Hoya AND Margarito and fought MOST of his career at 147-154, weights Pac has titles at?

People can't make excuses for Pac because he in fact has a 154 "title". A title that was martinez's. You cant claim to be P4P king at 154 and then attempt to make excuses when a REAL 154 lber (the weight class Pac chose to "cherry pick") challenges you (assuming Sergio wants that title and not Mayweather).

If Sergio wants to come back down to 154, he has every right too... You can't claim that Pac is too small for that 154 title he has... He fought a TRUE legit CHAMPION in Margarito (right?) who at one point many years ago beat Martinez. This should be sooooo easy for Pac? He'll KO him in the 1st round son....

It looks so bad for people to say Martinez is "too big" for Pac.... It just displays how they back his "selecting" of weaker opposition. It's like Max Kellerman said "UNACCEPTABLE"!

why are you comparing the martinez of back then who had no where near the experice of margs. martinez has gone alone way with the late start in his boxing career. you keep thinking pac was toying with margs that was the hardest pac ever fought and thats not good enough to beat martinez.

If Martinez came down to 147, then it would be a good and competitive fight that could go either way. 154 would be a mistake, and I think both Manny and Martinez know it.

Instead, how about Martinez-Williams III.

Truth is Martinez is too big for Pac. He already mentioned 156 is the lowest he would go. Manny and Co will not fight this man at that weight, and would pressure his camp lower his demand.

And honestly I dont think Floyd will pick up a fight with him at that weight either.

It sucks that he deserves a big pay day, but he is simply too big for the current superstarts.

Pacquiao has the 154lbs belt, Martinez is a 154lbs fighter.

Margarito is 5′ 11″ with a 73″ reach

Martinez is 5′ 10″ with a 74" reach

The problem here is not size of Martinez but the fact that Sergio is a genuine slick boxer that would give Pacman hell regardless of the size.

Barrera and Morales are more skilled than Martinez and that's a fact. You would never know that because you are knew to the sport of boxing. Don't let their brawling tactics fool you....because if you ever paid attention to Morales.....you would know what I'm talking about.
