      Pretty striaghtforward.

The point however is that we don't doubt that Pacquiao will accept a fight with Martinez because he is NOT SCARED to fight a tough challenge regardless of his disadvantages. That is how Pacquiao is plain and simple.

I doubt VERY MUCH if Mayweather will accept a challenge from Martinez Mayweather DUCKED Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and even PWill...so after watching that KO last night....... does anyone really believe Mayweather will step up??? Seriously??? NO WAY!!!!
I see it a little differently.....

Martinez is a JMW, who fights above his weight, and who could now be more comfortable at 160 due to his superb conditioning.

Mayweather is a WW, who previously fought at 154.

Pacquiao is a JWW, who fights above his weight.

You can beautify Floyd to the best you can.. but one thing is sure, Floyd's fight with Manny is simply won't gonna happen because Floyd is DEAD in boxing resulted from severe pac-phobia! He will not be resurrected just to face Pac, but he might seriously contemplating of enticing another LW champion in the named of WBC champ Humberto Soto to be blown up to WW catchweight, then Floyd will come up bigger than the agreed catchweight limit, and he will just pay few thousand dollars for his overweight just to ensure his winning and protecting his dearest "0 loss record". Then he will brag again to the whole world of winning by UD via out-pointing Soto in a 12 rounds shut -out fashion!

          • so sergios manager said that martinez will never fight pacquiao because segio will knock pacquiao out...hhmmm, then why did they fight williams knowing that they will KO williams?

also, why would they fight mayweather when pac is just as big as mayweather as far as height...dont they know that pac has fought guys bigger than mayweather?

            • *******s complain that Mayweather never fights a real challenge...well guess what, Pacquiao is held to the same standards, he doesn't get a free ride because he is a nice guy.

Pacquiao has the 154lbs belt, Martinez is a 154lbs fighter.

              Margarito is 5′ 11″ with a 73″ reach

              Martinez is 5′ 10″ with a 74" reach

The problem here is not size of Martinez but the fact that Sergio is a genuine slick boxer that would give Pacman hell regardless of the size.
The problem isn’t soo much size. But if Sergio can come down in weight, without any health issues. Otherwise win or lose we will hear an endless rant of: He Was WEIGHT DRAINED! Followed by bawing, moaning, crying, *****ing for weeks ends.

You guys are a bunch of dumbasses.

Exactly... what do you expect from floyd's fans? "jealousy" just put a gun on Pac's head so you guys can be happy! lol

                • I think Sergio doesn't trash talk, he's just calling it like it is.

Pacquiao has had big victories against big name opponents, but Sergio is a true threat should the fight ever come off, and as he's said, Pacquiao is just too small.

In my opinion, Pacquiao can hang with probably the gatekeepers and so-so fighters at 154, but the top guys there....no way.

Martínez doesn't have as much speed as Pacquiao, but he's speedy enough and savvy enough and heavy enough to give Pac a handful should the fight be at 154 if it ever comes off. Though I doubt it will.

                  • If Sergio fight Pac in his territory (welterweight), he will get knock out.

$5M will make Sergio go to ww.

And honestly I dont think Floyd will pick up a fight with him at that weight either.

It sucks that he deserves a big pay day, but he is simply too big for the current superstarts.
instead of trying to go down to fight smaller fighters, martinez is big enough to fight the best at super middleweight...theres alot of big fights in the supermiddleweights
