Do you think Martinez looked at it like that? Maybe Martinez
meant to say that Pac can't see him in the ring and that Floyd
would be a better challenge? He probably just opted to say
he was too small out of respect. BUT he did call it a
"MISMATCH". Read into that however you like.
I don't know what he was thinking. I think he was just caught up in the moment and had a lot of things he wanted to say other than call someone out. I think he wanted to thank people more than call fighters out or something. He was just happy and got what he was deserved!

I think it was you I was telling but Martinez is the man to beat Floyd.

    Martinez>Mayweather>Pac.
Martinez's style would absolutely destroy Pac and give Mayweather a run for his money to either hurt Floyd or win on points. He has the power, skills and style to beat Floyd.

Pac on the other hand gets clowned as AGAIN he keeps fighting these guys that are setting him up for failure when he gets in the ring with a real threat that has talent, movement, boxing ability, speed, power and a great defensive game let alone a high connect rate like Floyd's.

Mayweather vs Martinez, I would LOVE to see at 154-160. ANYONE that wants to see Floyd lose would call Floyd to fight Martinez. Not Pac. If Pac EVER fights a different style you will see why they have ignored/ducked it for some time now. Its "UNACCEPTABLE" and people are JUST now realizing it after (unlike me) throwing over $100+ worth of PPV shyt.

Yet if Floyd did ever fight and beat Martinez, the excuses would poor in of how old Sergio was or shot and dead he was. Even if it was his next fight after beating PWILL..... it never ends no matter who it is.....

You cant claim that title but then attempt to say...... welllll yeah you see about that..... yeaaaaaaaa he's actually, technically, most likely, somewhat but not too much, a little bit smaller... you see what happened wassssssss....... lol Sorry... he's a 154lber now WITH a title. Martinez IS IN FACT smaller than Hoya and Margarito.... its a REALISTIC fight. Its just the fact HE IS a threat and not a punching bag like Diaz, Hatton, Hoya, Clottey, Margarito..... and if Pac would have fought Cotto AT 147 that would have been A GREAT win in my books.... but its only a "good" win because Hoya at 147 but not Cotto? Weak.......

      Back to topic:
Pac just beat a TOP ELITE Margarito who's much bigger right (cough cough)? A much bigger fighter than Martinez. Pac fought Hoya who's bigger than both Pac AND Martinez... lol

I don't want to see Pac lose I want to see him fight different styles. These weight drained one dimensional punching bags sessions are getting lame...

Pac from 2008 and before is my favorite... everything after is a shame. I don't hate Pac, i hate who he "selects" or more importantly DOESN'T select.

As Max Kellerman explained about Pac's recent fights "UNACCEPTABLE"!

Why do we hold such low standards for Pac?
100% correct it isnt hate its just facts! ive been buying pac fights and no way im paying for aa mosley garbage matchup or another old has been, fight, its getting ridiculous what a sham!

Ok, so if that is the case. How come Manny didn't stay
his ass at 147? Instead, he opted to go for a 154 title at
a 150 catchweight against a non rank fighter?

so it wasnt excuse right? that Manny is really 145 lbs fighter. who do you think he would fight in 147 lbs? who would give him a problem and give him a big payday?

i want to see Manny with Martinez inside the ring so dont get me wrong. but if Manny would be fighting in 155 lbs, he would be giving up more than 10 lbs in a weigh in alone. do you think thats FAIR?

It's a WRAP for flop Stank's tough guy talk and ANY leverage in negotiations.

Manny's run out of Flop Stank in house fights and either has to step up his game with serious threats or retire a good lil honest Congroidsman. Like it or not.
            lmao CONGROIDSMAN!>>>>>>>................

I agree. I think Martinez is probably the only one that can
beat Floyd at this time. I wasn't sure if I would see the person
but Martinez has been proving himself to be quite a formidable
opponent. People keep forgetting what Roach said.......

"Mayweather is so different than our last four opponents [Cotto, Ricky Hatton, De La Hoya and David Diaz]. We have to study him really hard. But I know Mayweather really well. I just need Manny to see what I see." (Freddie Roach).

Didn't he give up that much against Margarito?

But really, Pacquiao has thrown off the whole "size" thing out of the window.

Third tier champion? Cabellero has been champ for about 5 years now. No one has even come close to beating him.

I understand your P.R. and all, but give the man credit.

I see that too often in this forum, I can tell right away where someone is from when I read the post they write. They give all the credit in the world to their fav. fighters from their country while completely dismissing fighters from other countries and discrediting all of their accomplishments.

How can you call yourself a boxing fan if you're that biased?

You don't know you ass from your elbow. Martinez is not in FACT smaller than De La Hoya and Margarito.

Genuis, De La Hoya started his career at 130, and at 147 was barely as strong as the other welter-weights.

Martinez started his career at 147, and has fought the majority of his rounds at 154. Now, he is the 160 champ.

De La Hoya couldn't do crap at 154, and his venture to 160 was a disaster. He couldn'te even beat Felix Sturm, not matter what the judges put in, and his fight with Hopkins were for dollars.

How in the world can you say De La Hoya is bigger than Martinez?
