To be fair, Martinez did say Pacquiao could beat Floyd. He shouldn't totally rule out a fight with Pacquiao because then that will give Pac an excuse to go after a tailor made title holder like Sturm for a ninth title and his fans will claim he's the GOAT.

yeah because he didn't dominated kelly pavlik right yeah kelly pavlik was 4 feet tall and smaller than martinez. Because he didn't dominate williams a 6'2 guy right because he had to loose weight instead of making theyre opponets loose weights ala pacquiao right. In one night get this in one ****ing night martinez just faced better competition than pac has faced in his last fights except marquez. and we all know how pacs face came out after that fight.

#1 Martinez win over williams more impressive than manny last fights and that pbf win over mosley
#2 mayweather win vs mosley more impressive than any of pacs

#3 pacquiao to tell you the truth i just have him there because he is popular probably why mostly everyone has him there. To be determined p4p best it should be determined by your level of opposition not popularity **** in that case if pbf fought nothing but ghattis at catchweights then he should be the best ever lmaol that is what pac is doing except with him they play the little man card whch already got ****ing annoying.

Pacquiao has the 154lb belt. Martinez is a legitimate 154lbs fighter, bring it. Lets get real, this is really about size, it about the skill. Pacquiao would be in over his head with a boxing talent like Martinez.

I say this:

Try to make Floyd vs Pacquiao next fall. Fight falls through....take on Mosley then push for Martinez in the fall. That would give Manny time to get an easy win...because I can't see him taking on another big guy just yet. People will laugh...but I have a feeling this is a fight that will happen (Pacquiao vs Martinez) but maybe sometime in 2012.

Martinez has many flaws said Roach. His mouth is flawed. Everyone wants a Pacquiao jackpot. Yes it will be a mismatch, the other way around. Line him as another Pacquiao Latin American victim.

pac only fights losers that are washed up ,how u dont see that I dont know, and why bring race into its only latinos have whpped pac, and latinos are some of the most dominant in the sport.pac is on a 13 fight winning streak.but JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ WENT 89-0 before he lost , even topping Sugar RAY ROBINSONS record winning streak .Chavez owns the record for most championships and longest winning streak in boxing history ! didnt lose till he was 35 years old! so much for latinos or mexicans sucking, pac historically cant even matchup or compete with the all time greats! pac may be popular but hes more hype than substance!

It can happen, but it may take time. Just two years ago Manny was fight Marquez at 130 and no one in the history of the sport just walks through weight classes like you want Manny to do.

He is not better than Manny because what manny is doing is dominated guy a lot bigger than Him. Martinez is a career 154lb who just went up and beat to MW. Props to him for that but that is not even comparable to a flyweight moving up and dominating WW's.

Barrera and Morales are more skilled than Martinez and that's a fact. You would never know that because you are knew to the sport of boxing. Don't let their brawling tactics fool you....because if you ever paid attention to Morales.....you would know what I'm talking about.

Berrera and Morales more skilled? heh. It depends on your point of view. The sweet science is about hitting your opponent and not getting hit. The majority of Mexican fighters are about eating a punch to land a punch.

Morales is one of my all-time faves but let be real, Mexican fighters are primarily brawlers, very comparable to what Pacquiao is. They rely heavily on their physical abilities more than their technical. Pacman, is gifted with Speed and power but his actual boxing technique I wouldn't call at an elite level.

Marquez was probably the most skilled fighter Pacquiao has ever faced. However, he doesn't fight your typical all out blood and guts style which is why he gave Pacman all he could handle.

This is no shot at Mexican fighters as they have many all-time greats and they probably have the biggest hearts in the sport. I just believe that a true master of boxing relies on technique as much as the physical talents they posses. Martinez has that overall package and Manny has never fought anyone like it.

Personally, I'd give Martinez a far greater chance of beating Mayweather than I would Pacman. Martinez is the real deal.

After really analyzing Pac/Margarito I pick Mosley over Pac. Pac is too easy to hit and Mosley is still way faster and hits way harder than Margarito. When Mosley taps Pac's body he will do more than wince.
