and you were saying realistically Martinez is smaller than Marg and Oscar? Martinez weighed in 157 lbs and could be as high as 170 lbs and now you're saying he is smaller than the two? get ur FACTS straight!

now after winning 8 division title you want him to fight in a middleweight and way out of his comfort zone? as ive said before let him go to Manny's weight and fight him there. you know damn well Manny will rearranged Sergio's face if they fight in Manny's weight.
Excuses, excuses and Manny Pacquiao can't see Sergio Martinez.
That's not just me saying it either. Martinez said it himself after
    he KNOCKED Williams OUT.

Pac also said he'd never fight over 147 again. Can you imagine Sergio fighting Pac who would come in at 144? No match. Sergio's manager has every right to say what he did. Nuff said. Now for Floyd who couldn't make the catchweight to fight Marquez....I also think he gets KTFO. Maravilla has the perfect blend of being physical against a slick African American figther and when he has to the speed to confront a brawler. This guy is truly Marvelous. If I were Floyd I'd sign for Pacquiao tomorrow...he has a better chance!
Yeah no joke. A fight with Martinez would be much tougher than a fight with Pac. It's crazy Martinez doesn't have more KO's. Then again Paul Williams & Kelly Pavlik aren't exactly slick fighters. Still, nobody can knock this guy for beating Paul (who was touted as most avoided), much less by 2nd round KO! I still like Paul but after seeing this fight Martinez has become one of my favorites as well. Too bad he is in such a weak division.

That's not my problem now is it? Just like it wasn't Pac's problem when the much "bigger" Hoya (who's bigger than Martinez) couldn't even make 147 lbs because he was so drained.... and shot as Roach (former trainer of Hoya's) expressed well in advance.

As for "he's a natural 145lb'er", that's an excuse as HE IS a 154lb title holder. Which is where Martinez fought most of his career.....

If you want to play that game than I can say Floyd (who fought as low as 129 1/2) is a natural 135lber who moved up to make that money just like Pac did..... That's not playing fair huh?

"Technically" And Martinez is smaller than Margarito and Hoya.
Do you think Martinez looked at it like that? Maybe Martinez
meant to say that Pac can't see him in the ring and that Floyd would be a better challenge? He probably just opted to say
he was too small out of respect. BUT he did call it a
"MISMATCH". Read into that however you like.

Exactly what I was saying earlier Grus. Sergio is really saying Manny's skills vs. his would be a mismatch cause Floyd is not even 2 inches taller and maybe 2lbs heavier. This isn't about size it's about skills. Manny's style would get crushed by Martinez.

what excuses? that Manny is a natural 145 lbs? let him go to 147 lbs and Martinez will get murder. plain and simple. no excuses.

                • Mayweather returns from vacation to fight Martinez and wins.....

It's a WRAP for flop Stank's tough guy talk and ANY leverage in negotiations.

Manny's run out of Flop Stank in house fights and either has to step up his game with serious threats or retire a good lil honest Congroidsman. Like it or not.
