Hell, Max looked like he wanted to choke Sergio and FORCE the names of Mayweather and Pac out of him... He actually looked pissed......

I was sitting there like damn, bug eyed Max is a funny dude. He even said what EVERYONE was thinking about how weak Pac's last fights where. "UNACCEPTABLE". No wonder some of these Pac fan boys don't like him... lol Hell i got to see the Pac Margarito fight for the first time last night and it was EXACTLY how I knew it would be (another in house Top Rank, made to look good fight for Pac)

Anyway I think while Max is not as wise as some of these old heads that been around forever BUT its great that they have him aboard. I would love for it to be Max, Jones Jr, Emanuel Steward and Jim Lampley all together.... That would be some funny shyt IMO... Max saying whatEVER is on his mind, Roy saying what he thinks will happen and everyone else is wrong, Steward saying how great someone is and Lampley in the back ground "****.... ****..... ****".....

    • I can't figure out what message Sergio and his handlers are trying to send. 'Pacquiao is too small, it's a mismatch... we won't fight him because we'd knock him out'

Are they seriously saying they wouldn't consider a PPV fight for millions and fighting for the P4P crown and defending the lineal MW championship? Or are they trying to goad Manny/Roach into a fight with those statements, especially the last one?

Obviously this fight would be a mismatch on paper, but technically so have all of Manny's fights in the past 2 and 1/2 years. Pac just broke the face of a guy who was 165 in the ring and has yet to make the WW limit but just won a LMW title.

Sergio came in at 168 on fight night. Yeah, he's faster than Tony but he's not faster than Manny- both hand speed and footwork, and he has a tendency to keep his hands low, so the fight would be interesting IMO. Damn good matchup that boxing fans would love to see, but it is a risk for a promoter since Sergio has no real following and is foreign.

Too bad he isn't Black and slick like Paul Williams, otherwise guys like BHop would be calling for that fight...

to tell you the truth even though pac is one dimensional fighter i don't question his heart or balls he would probably don't mind facing martinez but no way in hell roach and especially arum lets his cash cow loose its stock to martinez high risk no reward at least with pbf he will make 50 million so that they don't mind but if martinez humiliates pac then there would be no more catchweight damage fighters for pacquiao and those easy 25 million per fight 2 a year will go away since the public will open theyre eyes right now they are in pacland with all this media hyping pac up.

Williams is not shot at all he didn't took any damage it was a one punch ko and after the interview he didn't looked mentally beaten he just look disappointed and mad saying he caught me i didn't see that punch coming he can still dominate welterweight and jr middleweight and even though he lost i don't think team pac will facing him neither because he didn't take long term damage.

        • Sergio knew what he was talking about when he said Manny was too small. Manny is really small for a middleweight. not a fair fight asking Manny how is a pound for pound, on top of the boxing world to fight Martinez ouf of shis comfort zone. why not fighting Manny in his comfort zone instead of the other way around? Manny will rearranged Martinez face in 150 lbs. Martinez will definitely beat Manny in 156 lbs, not because he is better but because Martinez is a natural middleweight and would outweigh Manny by 20 lbs.

Just out of curiosity, what bums has Judah faced over the last few years on HBO?

Mayweather? Cotto? Matthysse, who happened to train with Martinez for their respective fights...?

              • Martinez is relatively new allbeit being 35. He has a young man's body. I don't see any middleweight, junior middleweight, or welterweight beating him. Pacquiao is the best pound 4 pound fighter in the world. That doesn't mean you throw him in the ring with Martinez or Klitschko. That would be equivalent to Salvador Sanchez vs. Marvin Hagler. You don't make those fights. Martinez is absolutely correct..

Its an indirect challenge, or more like a taunt at team Pacquiao. Sergio is 154lb fighter who would be marginally bigger than Margacheato.

                  Pacquiao has the 154lbs belt.

                  • Not only is it a mismatch because of size, but it will be the first opponent that would not be standing in front of Pacquiao and will have extreme fast handspeed. Martinez would KO Pacquiao. Pac sucks, he gets hit too much by slower punching bags like Clottey and Margarito.

Forget Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Mayweather-Martinez is the fight I wanna see now.

                    • i am a pacquiao fan and i hope this fight would not happen. im pretty sure it would be another fawking catchweight and again pac is fighting another latino. we all know he dominates fighters that are come forward. as long as it's a catchweight and a latino pacquiao got this.

i won't be surprised that they might fight p.will since he just got ktfo.
