Thats fine but BennyST said Williams landed nothing which shows someone didnt watch the fight.

PW got hit many times before, the shot that Sergio landed was actually scored in the first fight, but this time he was knocked out.

I thought trainer George Peterson would have him use lateral movement, his reach, and height to better use. The fact is that if you have poor defensive skills it catches up sooner or later. I see the Hearns syndrome with PW, as both Hearns and PW keep their hands low after throwing punches, this is what got Hearns knocked out against Barkley in 1988 in the upset of the year, and what got PW knocked out in the knockout of the year 2010. Like most, i am dissapointed we didn't get a better fight, but i as i said before hats off to Sergio Martinez a classy boxer and human being. A guy who was robbed in the Cintron fight and dealt with losing a close decision to PW in the first fight.

Martinez had to deal with the Basura (garbage) of Pavlik's trainer saying he aint no Carlos Monzon and Bob Arum saying "after the fight Madonna will be singing don't cry for me argentina." Well Sergio is fighter of the year hands down, and proved his cynics wrong.

I never said he wasnt. The fight looked exactly like the first one except for the perfect punch. I wont kill Paul for this loss like others are.

Me too, Williams is one of my favorite fighter right now. Always comes to fight, will fight anybody and he is also always entertaining.

But hey, he got caught by a bomb, it's boxing, it happens.

            He'll be back.

You had to have known that people would come in here just to get you riled up. Williams was clearly landing his own share of good punches and arguably won the first round.

The first round was close and it could have easily been a draw or went either way close. Then Sergio caught him with a perfect shot and knocked him into next week. Props to Sergio, the only things you can give Williams props for is a good and exciting first round.

Williams went out on his back doing what he does everytime out and whats got him to where he is today - a p4p contender and threat to anyone from WW to MW and a guy who holds a win over Martinez , and thats Bring it! No cherry picking and no running
