I was rooting for Sergio but man, I hope Paul is ok. I really respect him and I even rooted for him against Cintron, he always come to fight. Definitely not laughing.

I have mixed (or perhaps confused) feelings about this. On the one hand, I'm elated that Martinez won in such emphatic fashion. He was always in my mind the superior fighter and got to prove that tonight. On the other, I feel a little bad for Paul who, whatever he lacks in skills or natural athleticism, makes up for with insane workrate and heart. It wouldn't surprise me if the latter was taken away from him permanently with that chilling knockout, and that would be a shame for the boxing world as a whole. Also, from a purely fan-based point of view, I kinda hoped the fight would be longer since the first round was so good and competitive, hehe. But no biggie, the better man won.

Can't help but laugh at Williams's hardcore fans though. Those guys are delusional twats.

Bingo with the bold. I won't go as far to call Paul Williams a bitch because he's a hard worker and all that, but it was getting to the point of where HBO was showing a lot of favoratism toward him. And the fact that he is the reason this fight was at a catch weight and still lost makes him look all the more worse. I still like Paul Williams though because he's a good guy as far as being humble goes and he's got a personality that's easy to admire. But having one less Al Haymon fighter out of the HBO spot light doesn't burn any skin off my ass.

he took a rematch? ****ign martinez was the champion he signed hbo pushed for it everyone but pwill. the only reason why he took the rematch is because he realized he aint have **** else going for him noone at 147 wanted to fight or was busy same with 154 and he wouldnt dare go to 168 or he been knocked out by the super 6 and bute. so he said i guess ill fight martinez again but he has to drop 2 extra pounds

I think a lot of the laughing has to do with you to be honest. No offense.

              this right here.

In all honesty. Williams has a lot of faults. He doesn't fight tall or use a jab, and he has bad defense. He gets hit way too much for his height. He really needs to make some changes. This was gonna happen sooner or later. I thought he'd win tonight though. He just tried to overwhelm Martinez and left himself wide open.

I feel bad for him too. Mostly because due to all the gift decicions he might actually thought that he is a good boxer and now that is gone forever.

He was way overrated, but deserves all the respect in the world. He went out swinging, and came to fight from the moment the bell sounded.
