thats right, I miss the days when the best fought the best, people mock mosley and delahoya now but that was the last era in which they did...... delahoya faced the absolute best out there and mosley did too. martinez is a rare exception nowadays.. arum is bad for the sport, delahoya has his ways but hes willing to make better fights, arum is a greedy bastard of the likes that is just unbeleiavable for him to want pac to fight msley or cotto or jmm says it all...

Wow, Martinez said he felt his punches got stronger and that he would win by KO, no kidding. This is Fighter of the year so far, it was a legit matchup and he dominated. I never i thought i would see Williams on actually knocked out, but that punch was one of the hardest and probably LOUDEST i've heard in years. just wow. I give props to both fighters for taking this fight, these guys are the reason why boxing is exciting, no politics no BS, true worriors.

Martinez - Pac at 154lbs isn't a realistic fight because Martinez is covenient at 160lbs and though he needs to dehydrate to meet 154lbs is advantageous to him because he could redyrates to his convenient fighting weight the following day at fight night. While Pac could not even fight at JMW and his fight to his Margarito was a testament that he could not even make mass more than 147lbs. See the scaling of the two to where Margarito was in full JMW while Pac fighting him on lower weight-class at mid-WW! But I think the best pairing should be Floyd-Martinez or Pac-Floyd because Floyd ideal fighting weight-class is at 147lbs to 154lbs, while Pac is from 140lbs to 147lbs.

No he didn't give it up he was politically stripped to allow Pac to win a bogus title. Sergio should have been allowed to keep the title @ 54 and 60. I thought it would be cool to have a throwback Middle-wt champion. Now he doesn't need the bogus sanctioning body title.

well pac just won an unprecedented 8th wt class didnt he? so hes 154lb champion now regardless of what he weighs! if martinez weighs 156lbs and margs just got beat weighing 165lbs whats the issue??? didnt margs ko martinez in 6rounds? whats the issue??? pac is supposed to be the best that ever lived according to arum. Please Manny aint no Martinez. Martinez aint afraid of needles for one thing and he fights winners for another. I hope Floyd accepts that challenge cause to me that's his only real challenge out there.

From an objective standpoint not being a real fan of either I just have to say that I feel so sad for those that live inside of Floyd's head. Can he beat Pac? Maybe. I dont think its out of the realm of possibility. He is the greatest defensive fighter of this generation, BUT, I cant believe any real objective person can EVER say that Floyd has always fought the best, he has always looked to fight the almost, the just over the hill. I hope he steps up. But in the end, as a true fan of boxing the truth is that I will probably just have to sit back and laugh at how History will always judge him for what "Money" is unless he makes a change: a man with deep psychological problems afraid of losing his O.
