Wow, Martinez said he felt his punches got stronger and that he would win by KO, no kidding. This is Fighter of the year so far, it was a legit matchup and he dominated. I never i thought i would see Williams on actually knocked out, but that punch was one of the hardest and probably LOUDEST i've heard in years. just wow. I give props to both fighters for taking this fight, these guys are the reason why boxing is exciting, no politics no BS, true worriors.

Off topic, this post reminded me of something from the Maidana-Ortiz fight, where Maidana landed a very hard and crisp right hand, but more notably it was extremely loud!. Hahaha just though i would drop that in. I wouldnt mind seeing Maidana put in a similar performance to the one we have just witnessed against Khan.

Beautiful punch. Williams was asleep with his eyes open. Martinez is on one hell of a streak right now. I remember wondering why Forrest kept ducking this guy.

Williams hasn't changed his style or added any dimensions. He just fights one way really well. Against bigger counter punchers he gets hit too much. I think Kelly Pavlik would have done the same. Where does he go from here? I think he'll have a hard time finding fights. Maybe Margarito rematch?

Martinez hinted during the interview after the KO that he's willing to fight Pac at 156. However, Pac team already said they're not fighting above 147 already. So, your argument that Pac would duck him doesn't hold water.
