    Again, we r talking styles here. And u can tell this guy is on Manny's **** the way he tries to make Joshua Clottey out to be Elite. Whether he's Elite or not. He didn't fight Manny like an Elite fighter.

      I just can't believe how many people are debating this. Bob Arum
      even admitted that Manny hasn't fought any slick African American
      boxers/fighters.

        is that all you have? ok then, lets turn this around then; Has Floyd ever fought a quick stepping, power punching filipino before? Guess that means that Floyd is afraid of filipinos then huh?

            Yeah no kidding. So many great, slick, Black boxers for Pac to fight all of those years at his various lower weight classes. The list is crazy long. And Im sure a guy like Cambell would have given Pac way more trouble then all those HOF Mexicans he has fought. What with his slick, inner city style and all. I swear to God some of these critics just parrot what they hear without putting an ounce of thought into it.

                With all the different opinions on this thread and in the final analysis i think there is one thing that we can all agree on;
                The Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Fight will happen next year.

                  Pac wanted one of the slickest boxers in history. He went on vacation and now he doesn't seem to have any intentions of fighting Pac.

                    Someone tell Hopkins

                    U are one of the great ones in boxing. you need to retire because your starting to look slow and don't throw many punches which equals boring, you have become the opposite of what Manny is right now. First of all Manny P is the slick black fighter that mayweather has avoided. So get it correct. Pac has negro blood in him just as many phillipinos and people of the pacific have in them. Pac and Floyd are the slickest black fighters in the weight class. thats why we want them to fight, so call your boy PBF and urge him to fight that negro pinoy.

                      Hops statements refer to a boxers style and schooling, not his race dude. Race always blurs the context...it annoys me.

                      If your going to refer to the type of boxer that Hops is in this situation then you will by nature be reffering to black urban based fighters. You just do not see Asian, Hispanic or European fighters schooled in the same way to the same slick style.
