  • Keith Idec..... you are the most ill-informed douchebag that considers himself a journalist I have ever seen!!!!! You must only watch pacman fights or something.....you are trying to slight the fact that Clottey is from Ghana by saying he lives in the Bronx and Mayweather lives in a mansion in Vegas!!!??? C'MON SON!!!!! what the **** does that have to do with boxing.....Go on YOU TUBE and look at some of Freddie Roach's interviews.....He doesn't deny that he avoids slick fighters....Black or otherwise.....Facts are facts and the fact is there are not many non African-American slick fighters! There are some but not many.......And those fighters are not even in the same weight class as Manny....Keith Idec...do your homework dude....you know nothing about boxing....

    • hopkins is just trying to tell the world that he has a thinking of a moron, an imbecile or an idiot. he is trying to tell the world that only BLACK AMERICANS are worthy to be called champions in this sport. this idea of him portrays his idiotic and moronic mind. for how can he claim that a black american fighter who has a slick style would beat pacquiao. pacquiao is not immortal. he is just an ordinary fighter with extra-ordinary skills unmatch by the present crops of fighters. great champions have their own time. and this is pacquiao's time. ali has his own time, so with marciano, so with carlos monson, and leonard, hagler and hearns or duran or arguello for that matter. being a champion whether you are black or white or asian or whatever your race is not accidental. that is a special gift from God. it would be moronic to say that pacquiao has not fought top black afro-american fighters. for how can pac fight a top afro-american fighter when there is no one desering to fight him? from the flyweight, superflyweight, bantam, featherweight, or lightweight division, is there any black afro-american fighter worthy to fight pacman? as far as i know only the mexican fighters were competitive to fight pacquiao.
hopkins remarks is racial. he is rrying to tell us that only black afro-american fighters are great fighters. if he has indeed a slick style that could make him a great champion, why did joe calzaghe, whom he called WHITE BOY kick his ass?
hopkins, stop making nonsense comments because that would only show what kind of brains you have.

      • I am just wondering...how much money is this Bernard Hopkins expecting as commission if Manny Pacquiao ended up fighting Mosley.

        • Bubba Hopkins

When Bubba Hopkins opens his mouth, he looks and sounds a lot like George Jefferson from that old TV series.

renegotiate the contract and Zab got less than he did before
he lost to Baldomir. On top of that. Baldomir was the Lineal

don't even know what is really going on
            .
            That was pretty uncalled for....

            Here's what I remember.....

Pac/Morales II was setup from jump (end of the 1st fight)....their "tune-up" was Pac/Velasquez and Morales/Raheem....Pac did his part and Raheem was such a unknown to everyone...including Morales' camp...and if memory serves correctly...that was the 1st "slick afro-american" fighter Morales faced. THey even fought on the same card right?

Point being is that Morales/Pac II was pretty much set in stone by Bob...and he wasn't gonna throw away a nice payday to all parties involved becuase of Raheem's static....I don't know the details for the contract or % of cut to Morales/Pac as you did for Judah/Mayweather....but I'm pretty sure that Morales would've ended up with the shorter end of the stick due to the Raheem outcome....

No need to throw stones at other fans of the SPORT...

Can't leave it alone with answers like that cuz.....

Campbell was the "man"? At the time when Pacquiao was taking out the 3 amigos? And those 3 amigos are future HOFers....Campbell?

Bradley was the man @ 140? The Bradley who can't even sell out his own hometown....who was only 22-0 at the time Pacquiao was even around the division?

Mosley? I actually agree that Pac should've taken on Mosley AT NO CW...taking Cotto out (who beat Mosley albeit close decision) at the 145lb CW was impressive...could've been more impressive at the full 147lb limit....

See we can have a nice discussion right?

                • Pacquaio is a freak of nature, why can't people accept that. Pacquiao is one in a billion, an anomaly that occur every 100,000 years. There is not an iota of peds in Pacquiao's body. I know a guy like Bhop or Mayweather are in denial that a small Asian can dominate boxing and someday even surpass Sugar Ray Robinson and Ali's accomplishment. Eight titles in eight different weight classes, who would imagine that an Asian did that. Name any black boxer that did something like that. Not even the great Robinson can't do that. not even Armstrong or Ali. We are lucky to see something like this. Maybe it's a sign of something.

                  • Hopkins was always an idiot in my book. The man is a walking contradiction. And some of the post on this thread are as idiotic.

First of all Manny P is the slick black fighter that mayweather has avoided. So get it correct. Pac has negro blood in him just as many phillipinos and people of the pacific have in them. Pac and Floyd are the slickest black fighters in the weight class. thats why we want them to fight, so call your boy PBF and urge him to fight that negro pinoy.
                      i can dig it!!!!!!!!!!!
