Yeah we all know how Margs got his shot do we really want to see another guy who is not deserving and clearly past it get a shot this time too.

I would love to see Manny stop Floyding fight fans & take on a prime elite fighter!!It just appears to me that it isn't ok for Floyd to Floyd,but it's ok for Pacman to Floyd,that's not fair to Floyd,because Floyding is derived from Floyd himself!!LOL!!

If you want to know how well or poorly Shane will do against PAC, watch his collazo, cotto n mayora fights. In those fights you will see how he reacts to lefties, being outboxed n dealing with an unorthodox fighter. Then factor in that PAC is stronger n faster than all three.

Pacquiao has gain the ability to counter sloppy/slow jabs with his right hand. I'm sure Roach sees this and Pacquiao can take advantage of Shane's weird lazy jab. This fight might be competitive if Mosley can nullify Pacquiao with clinches and imposing his physical strength on Pacquiao. However I don't see it happening. Besides, what merits does Mosley have to get a shot at Pacquiao? It seems that undeserving people are the most likely to get a shot at Pacquiao from now on.

Pac's defense is becoming underrated. People seem to overlook that while Pac does get hit a lot, he is landing 3 punches for every 1 his opponent lands. Pacquiao isn't as open to that one huge shot as people think, and really the only reason Floyd got hit by that shot is because he was taking it too easy. Once that shot woke him up, Shane never came close to landing a shot like that.

Mosley just isn't capable of beating someone who moves like Pac. He would be spending the whole fight taking shots and trying to find Pac when he moved. And since Mosley isn't a pressure fighter like Margarito, Pac wouldn't be half as uncomfortable as Margarito made him. And no, Mosley's handspeed is no where near Pac's.

I don't think Pac's defense is underrated, though I do think his boxing ability and overall skills are. I think you might be underrating Molsey's speed a bit. 3 hits to one might be an accurate assessment for Cotto or Margarito, and while you're saying Mosley's speed isn't close to Pac's (which I disagree because initially Roach himself was amazed at how Cotto neutralized Shane's speed and it was a concern before Pac's training camp started), you certainly can't say Mosley is in the same speed catagory as them.

Also, the give 3 punches for one in return might not have worked for Cotto and Marg because again, they're accumulation punchers. Not only would I give Mosley a better ratio than 3-1, but he's more powerful than those two.


Margarito not only found, but hurt Pacquiao despite Pac's movement. And while Mosley might not be as good as cutting off the ring, Pac has been up against the ropes in his last few fights and if Molsey can get him on the ropes just once, it might spell trouble for Pac. Pac will be forced to move off quickly because if he tries to punch his way out like he did with Marg, Shane will tie up.
