My opinion on this whole black slick fighter manny is not fighting is this:

Pacquiao's success & to a certain degree the klitscko brothers, has ruined the natural order in boxing. Meaning, the normal hierarchy has been disrupted. It has been turned upside down by pacquiao's reign as king, k brothers dominant reign at heavyweight. Specifically pacman's overwhelming boxing decorations, accolades, does not sit well with certain "people."

If you look at the history of p4p kings, it has been predominantly ruled by black american fighters. Even tracing back 100 years ago, it was always black & white fighters, then as time went on prominent white fighters were slowly dying & the dominance was replaced by almost exclusively by black fighters. People grew up & live rooting for the greatness & placement of black fighters. Boxing fans, specifically black fans & to a certain degeree white fans, are used to rooting for a black fighter on top.

What is happening now is that a non american non black is on top of the food chain & the people who usually root for black & every now & then a top p4p king latin fighter are resentful that its not a american black on top. To make matters worse, the heavyweight division has been ruled by an iron fist by eastern european champions.

This resentment, this spiteful, bitter jealous attitude reminds me of the movie american gangster starring denzel washington. russell crow's character told frank lucas that he has upset the natural order of the drug trade. the italians are mad that he has become the boss of the drug trade that is normally ruled by the italian mob.

Why cant certain "people" be happy that a new star & king is on top? Why are they so compelled to bring him down? It reminds me of this kat williams stand up where kat williams describes how white people cant even let black people enjoy president *****:

    starting at 2:40 mark

Watch that whole video starting from the 240 mark. It perfectly describes this whole black race supremacy non sense.

Every p4p king has almost always been black & sometimes latino. Why cant we appreciate manny pacquiao as fresh new king? First asian fighter to be p4p king & we cant even let him enjoy his reign without trying to bring him down with this racist ideology.

Cant we just let his asian fans be proud for a minute? Havent the american black fans have had all the great fighters on top? Why cant historians compare pacquiao alongside armstrong & robinson as they have started to do? Is that so bad?

Why are you guys so selfish?
you do pose some interesting questions - my apologies.

I don't think too many African American fight fans care that the Klitshko's are dominating the division.

Most intelliegent boxing fans already knew that the heavyweight division was dead back when Lennox Lewis was reigning over it.

This is what the heavyweight division looked like under Lennox Lewis' reign:

Shannon Briggs, Hasim Rahman, David Tua, Chris Byrd, The Klitshkos, Corrie Sanders, John Ruiz, Oldyfield, etc...

That's a real MURDERERS ROW right there.

Face it the heavyweight division has been dead since the 90's.

The way I see things is the WHITE/EURO fans are trying to make more of the Klitshko's reign than deserved. That's the problem.

Yes, the Klitshko's are GOOD, but they don't have any other fighters of equal skill anywhere near them. It's not because they're so great it's because the competition is below average and it's been that way for a long time.

As far as Pacquiao is concerned, most boxing fans give this man his props.

However, when you want to start comparing him to Ray Robinson and Henry Armstrong then the critics are going to have something to say when he flat out refuses to fight SHANE MOSLEY, MAYWEATHER, MARTINEZ or WILLIAMS!

Manny should not be allowed to slide into ALL TIME GREAT status because he beat limited, old and damaged fighters above the 140 weight class.

Manny has to earn his spot as a legend. He should have earned that spot the right way by fighting SHANE MOSLEY while he was the KING of the division.

Team Pacquiao ducked that fight and took a fighter coming off a LOSS instead (CLOTTEY).

That is not HOF worthy. Sorry.

Yes, Pacquiao is good, but Mayweather is still the KING of 147. Until he beats him, he should not considered the best of his era.

The Mosley fight is kinda pointless. Floyd already clowned him, though whether he got old overnight, he was not able to use any nutritional supplements for fear it would register on the OST or because Floyd just outclassed him that badly is unclear to me. Whatever the case, people are already discrediting Floyd for fighting Mosley, so what use would it be for Pacquiao to fight him. Martinez is too heavy. The only meaningful fight is Mayweather. Williams and Martinez are just too big. If he DOES fight either, it will be at a catchweight for Martinez (just no) or 147 for Williams who would likely have much difficulty getting down to that division again.

                  This + Mayweather's dog eating comments.It's becoming a lot.

Hopkins and Mayweather are making their community looking bad.
Floyd and Bernard are *******s, but they're note spokesmen for their race. The only people who would judge an entire people based on what certain people of that race say or do if the definition of racist.

As for the topic; Black Americans used to dominate boxing. They don't anymore. I think Bernard and a lot of older fans havent paid attention to the fact that outside of Floyd, there arent any black fighters that can pose much of a threat to Manny.

manny has already made his name in the lower weight classes with fights vs the 3 hall of fame mexicans. he was already a hall of famer before he ever stepped foot above 130lbs. The reason why he is being compared to all time greats is what he has done 130lbs & below to what he has done at 135 lbs & above. He's already a verified legend in the sport & nothing will change that.

People dislike the Klits because they don't always deliver action in their fights, even though they usually stop their opponents. And the only people who resent Pac's success are PBF loyalists. That racial stuff is rubbish.
