that's because while he's pretty slick, he's not shy to engage his opponent in a toe to toe confrontation.

When he moved up to Welter and got older maybe, but at 135 he was as close to untouchable as it gets.

A washed up Pernell took bomb after bomb from a prime Felix Trinidad at 147 pounds and didn't get stopped, I don't see Pacquiao stopping him.

Pea would have given Manny absolute fits. I doubt you have watched too much of Whitaker.

            But, Whitaker beats both.
Go away fanboy of pernell witaker posing as a Pac fan. He beats Floyd perhaps because floyd hasnt fought anyone of his calibre maybe, but not Pac.

Pernell has never faced anyone with the offensive, and all round ability of Pac.

Why couldn't he beat Pacquiao? Style wise it is a horrible match-up for Manny.

                Whitaker beats Pacqiauo by UD
Whitaker and Mayweather is a SD or MD, Whitaker was my favourite fighter and Mayweather is my favourite fighter now so its a tough one but i would lean on Mayweather but only slightly.

I agree, although I don't see how Mayweather-Whitaker could be boring. Whitaker I'd have winning a UD against either fighter, with a wider margin against Pacquiao.

I think Pea's defense and countering would really reduce Floyd's output and restrict him to operating mostly on the defensive. I don't see it being an action fight by any means.
